    back to the original point, if I may...does anyone think that patellar tendonitis is another in the long line of catastrophic Oden injuries? Or that it might lead to it? I mean, from what it sounds like the bones are healed and it's "just" knee pain that 50% of the league goes through at some point.

    What's the rationale for those that think he's not going to make it through the season? Just the fact that he hasn't done it before?

    David Robinson's NBA career started when he was 24 years old... Greg is 22 this year

    both missed two years of hoops, but maybe it would make more sense to compare their NBA numbers in a couple years when they're the same age?
