Oden hasn't underachieved as much as he's been injury prone, and his injuries have without a doubt affected his play on the court. Even with that, he's shown he can produce and make a team significantly better when he's on the court.

Bust is a label I can't put on any player that's shown when healthy he's worthy of where he was selected. Injury prone on the other hand is.

This is the type of post that I can't stand. I think your basic premises are fine - it's perfectly fine to be down on Oden and not to expect anything special from him, given his history. But then you have to go ahead and fuck it up with made up bullshit like "Hes never gonna play even 60 games in a season." that you try to pass off as fact. Then you call the people who haven't given up on Oden "homers" who act "like a Mom with their kids". This is a BLAZERS BOARD - you are inevitably going to find posters who haven't given up on Oden like you have.
