Its funny how many times a person can be wrong and still act like his opinion has any kind of merit. Unfortunately for us, we are flooded with his horrible opinion constantly.

Then again, he doesn't really believe in what he posts or he'd take more pride in sticking up for his baseless claims.

In terms of his contract status and when the team has to decide whether or not to extend him - he is a 4th year player. For the *team*, no other definition is relevant.

It's the people claiming he is a "3rd year" player who are playing semantic games.

being ridiculous is a choice you're making. The league decides what constitutes a player's rookie year, this isn't done based on what some Blazer fans might want to hear. Everyone but a certain proud contrarian playing semantics games goes along with the official record keeper's call because it is a non-issue... specific contract considerations can easily be gathered with a little digging.

There are plenty of posters making reasonable statements/arguments in this thread as to why they do not consider Oden a bust without resorting to 'attacking' you, but you lump anyone with that opinion into a single homer group and use wildly off base hyperbole to create a strawman to beat up on.

And as for those attacks, you're purposefully antagonizing to the point of resorting to personal attacks yourself and then claiming to be the victim of others using your same tactics, color me unsympathetic.
