Please. Those "couple of games" are all that matter in all of sports. Predicting the Lakers wouldn't win the Championship and then being wrong isn't just being "off by a couple of games".

Letting you know I think your posts/arguments are poorly carried out isn't because I'm a card carrying member of the 'Mixum haters', it's because I genuinely think your positions are hyperbolic and poorly defended.

I've come to a sad realization - reading this forum is actually turning me against the team.

A year ago, I said the theme for the 09-10 season needed to be "no more excuses." Instead, Blazerdom has degenerated into "excuses-R-us!"

 

That's the spirit! Other fans with optimism and hope for their favorite sports team (which is for entertainment, let me remind you) has somehow upset you enough to turn against your team.

 

I think the Blazers will beast this year. Homer up!!!! Greg, once he hits the floor, is going to dominate. Andre and Roy are going to play off each other MUCH better. Batum is going to get 32 minutes a game and solidify our SF spot. LMA will push to be an all-star. Oden/Matthews/Batum/Camby/Pryz, will contribute to Portland holding their opponents to under 45% shooting average, and Portland will be one of the top 5 defensive teams in the league. BEASTING this YEAR. Homer up!!!!! 56 wins, WCF appearance. HOMER IT UP!!!!!
