That's funny, I remember him being the best Blazer nigh instantly. He had 5 blocks and 12 boards his first game in 26 foul plauged minutes. If he was out of shape imagine the beastiness when he gets in shape. His biggest problem was that we had ZERO perimeter defense which limited his effectiveness to say the least. His offensive numbers probably would have been better if we had gotten him the fucking rock once in awhile when he had position.

Question HCP, does he look skinnier then when he played in 2009/10 or about the same?

Now he was in a suit, so I couldn't see too much, but his face looked like his rookie year. I would love to see how much he weighs.

Nice find. Now find the pic where Bex is interviewing him during our last broadcast of the season in the back hallway of the RG.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Yeah, I'm a little surprised at the people who felt Oden was overweight and out of shape once games started last year. He may have been slightly heavier than ideal, which was understandable due to how long he had to wait before full-out activity, but he was far from overweight and he was moving really well...laterally, up and down the court and getting up in the air to rebound and challenge shots.

I'd also prefer he was more David Robinson, in frame, than Shaq...but I didn't think he was remotely as wide as Shaq last year.

Exactly and lets hope we are working him out SMARTER than before when he apparently over strengthened "parts" of his leg area muscles which may have contributed to his injury. And that we are using more of the new and apparently successful "Phoenix trainer" approach that they have had such good results with. Five hours a day by itself does not impress me, doing it right does.

I think it's funny that there are so afraid to believe he'll be healthy that they're so pessimistic. It's fucking basketball, not life or death.

I expect GO will dominate this year and play at least 70 games. 16 points, 12 boards, 3 blocks and 2 assists. He'll be named the NBA's Most Improved Player.

Five hours a day? Next he'll have tendonitis. Can't Medina to anything in moderation?

Greg is going to be a MANSTER this year. Yes, I have my hopes up!!! :)

I am very optimistic especially if they have reevaluated and improved his workouts

His face definitely looks thinner from those pictures. Great news.
