    Agreed. You think with the Blazers in the playoffs and about 6-8 articles posted each of the past 2 days in the Oregonians expanded playoff coverage that by now, a breaking news blurb from them about Oden would have been posted. Like you said, anyone can post a twitter stating whatever. It doesn't mean much of anything till we hear from the team.

    So nobody has confirmed if he sat out of practice today? Or is that confirmed, just not confirmed why?

    I will definitely be praying for him tonight, lol. You got this Gregory. Damn man, just do what you gotta do to get out there. We need ya.

    Ok, new post on O Live by J. Quick posted a few minutes ago about McMillan being named coach of the month. No post about Oden. I think he would've led with that 1st since it is more important to the task at hand (the Rockets).

    He had a sinus infection prior to summer league and he played through it. This is the fucking playoffs, and if I was a betting man, he's going to play through it. Book it.

    If he has a sinus infection - he has a sinus infection. I am not sure what the big deal is. Maybe he should not have viruses in his house - but let's face it - we all do...

    Sheesh...

    However - if he can't play - he should at least come and give Yao a hug and a kiss before the game - sharing - it's important.

    I guess Greg is a wuss for missing practice but Nic isn't when he missed a game. I highly doubt Greg is going to miss tomorrow's game. If he still isn't feeling well they'll pump him full of fluids and meds to clear up anything and he'll play.

    There are probably a dozen NBA players right now with a sore jaw, aching ribs, large bruises, or a stiff back right now thanks to Oden. They would probably disagree with you.

    A wuss is a guy like Derek Anderson, who misses a game because of a toothache. Or Theo Ratliff, who mailed in an entire season without any discernible excuse.

    Every one of Oden's injuries have been legit. Microfracture surgery. Chipped patella. Broken hand. Tonsilitis. Other than the tonsils, the recurring theme from those other injuries is that they are a side effect of playing a very non-wuss style of play.

    Well considering I have had sinus infections that have taken me out for days, I think you should shut the fuck up. You obviously aren't the one that is sick here, and obviously have no idea how good or not good he feels. If he is feeling bad, he might be more detriment than good to the team.

    I know, I know. I'm overreacting. Still, I get so frustrated with Oden's development, it makes me want to tear my hair out. The guy is just one disappointment after another.

    You can't make this stuff up.

    First, we luck into Oden in the lottery, go hog wild, and then he misses his entire rookie season.

    Second, we're all jazzed up to see him on opening night, but he sprains his ankle and is out for 6 games.

    Now, just as we're about to return to the playoffs for the first time in years, he gets a sinus infection.

    As I said, you can't make this stuff up.
