the grizz are making all the big shots. Mike Miller made a 3 with 2 seconds left to push the game to a 2nd overtime.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MVPlaya:</div><div class="quote_post">I bet if they trade Ricky, cavs will do better.</div> How? I don't see how he can get traded after signing his big contract last year. Like KingJames said, they need his scoring abilities. LeBron is no big scoring threat who is going to give you 20-25 consistently a game, especially because he's 18 and their point guard, and that is not his game to score 20-25 a game either. You guys need Boozer back, he's been solid this year avg a double double a game. I also think Cavs are getting limited production from Z, he was a monster last year. Trading Z wouldn't be a dumb idea, he carries a lot of cap and Mihm and Diop are solid Centers who need more time. Going to finish up watching this game, peace!
James might get a quadruple double!!! 3 more assist and 2 more turnovers.... Nobody answered my question...what happened to kapono?
Double-OT!? I need to watch this game! I should have had league pass for this one. Any MVPlaya, why would they do better if they traded Ricky, he is the only one that is a main scorer besides Z and sometimes LeBron.
MVPaya, please provide details on why you feel how you feel, anybody can just blert things out. This is JustBBall.
Amazing game, this had it all, huge leades, blowing leads, runs, clutch shots, career highs...easily most exciting game of the night. LeBron James had 33 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal, a block, and 3 treys. (14-28 from the field) Ricky Davis had 25 points, 6 boards, 7 assists, and a steal. Ilgauskas had 17 and 11. Gasol had 37 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks, a steal, and an assist. What a game, full report and box score coming soon.
Ricky Davis is takin a lot of their shots... I mean a lot. And if Ricky Davis would be a reason they got their 4 wins, how do you know who they would get back won't get them more than 4 wins? I feel that Ricky is somehow messin up their chemistry I can't explain it, but its obvious they should have more than 4 wins.

It was in NBA forum and it got locked, I forgot what thread it was, but i'm pretty sure it was with Ricky and if he should be on the team?

Yes Ricky has hurt us a bit, I won't argue that, but I will give him the chance to grow up here because we need him BAD. This team would lose a lot more without him because like I have been saying, he is not afraid to shoot. Without him there is a lot of standing and confusion with this young team. Games like this is what the Cavs need to get better, it's how you learn to win.
Ahh this game was a shame. We were up for a couple times. Well we can just wait for the rematch of LeBron and Carmelo. Cavs take on the Nugs next. (Wow LeBron, 16 REBS!? And hes a PG?, maybe a starting PG and backup C with those numbers )

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> LeBron James was the last player to shower, slumping in his chair in an empty locker room. The rookie was in no mood to celebrate his finest game as a pro. That party had been canceled. Pau Gasol scored a career-high 37 points and the Memphis Grizzlies completed their second-biggest comeback with a 122-115 win in double overtime Saturday night over Cleveland. James had a monster performance -- 33 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists -- but made two costly turnovers in the final 1:08 of the first overtime period that helped Memphis rally. "I would have rather been blown out by 50 then lose like this," he said. Cleveland has lost six in a row. Shane Battier added 22 points and a career-high 12 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who trailed by 24 in the first half and 16 going into the fourth quarter. Memphis' comeback was its biggest since overcoming a 25-point deficit to beat Portland on March 25, 2002. "We're not a team that ever says the game is over," Grizzlies coach Hubie Brown said.</div> Full Story Box Score
Just for this terrible loss, I hope Memphis loses all of the rest of their games in the season. I feel bad for Bron. He must have felt terrible with two turnovers at the very end. A lot of pressure is on him and I was afraid when he got in the NBA something would occur like that. He did have a great game, but I see why he didnt want to celebrate with numbers like that. Dont worry, Im sure we have a great chance to win against the Nugs on Tues.
Great game by LeBron. But, it's like I've said in other threads, they need to work on defense. I'm sure Paul Silas will be stressing closing out games in practice here soon if they keep struggling at it. This game should not have been won by the Grizz, but, it just shows what happens when you can't close out a game.
