Who is playing better? Looks like Drogba is going to enter the game.

Seemed like both teams were content to come away with a draw.

Cote d'Ivoire looked pretty good but it is hard to say either team looked better in a goalless game.

At one point in the first half, I could of swore Ivory Coast had the ball much longer than Portugal and were completely controlling the game. Next thing you know, ESPN flashes the amount of possession for each team, Portugal was winning 56-44 but you could hardly tell considering they had the ball on their defensive half of the field a majority of the time. Portugal didn't seem like a very good offensive attacking team until Sevao (spl?) came in and then they had many more opportunities. Ivory Coast did seem to play better of the 2 squads and that late spurt really looked nice, too bad Drogba couldn't finish that one shot. I wasn't terribly disappointed with this game, but it could of been better, especially with Ronaldo falling to the pitch every time he was breathed on.

Almost time. Everyone in the country is leaving work early to watch the Seleção. I hope I can get at home in time for the match, unfortunally I expect a monster traffic jam in São Paulo.

Holy hell you could see the nerves in the faces of the North Korean squad during that national anthem. Half of them looked scared shitless, and one was even crying from proud joy of representing his country.

Good game from the North Koreans. That Maicon goal was a nice goal, I don't care if ppl think the goalie messed up, it bent in. Then that 2nd goal, the pass was INSANE to set up the goal! Brazil just showed why they're world class, but a nice effort from North Korea. I think North Korea might have a chance to advance if they can play like this in all their matches.

Did you guys hear the rumor that North Korea's fans are actually hired actors from China?

I don't even want to write about what I think of Brazil after that match, so I'll write something nice instead. You guys have to admire a team like North Korea. They had some decent breaks and Jong Tae-Se was a relentless workhorse up front. I really admire his passion. I've been an admirer since I became a fan of Kawasaki Frontale a few years ago. They came into the tournament as unknowns to pretty much everyone and they took it to Brazil. They didn't control possession, but they remained confident despite going down a goal and played with a lot of heart while remaining patient. They were very disciplined, impressive and noble. Notice that they never flopped and when they knocked a player over they were always there to lend a hand up. I hope they do well against Portugal and Côte d'Ivoire.

It means selection. Their nickname is "The Selection."

The thing is that we were all assholes thinking North Korea would lose big when we know absolutely nothing about them. I only knew one player, just one. That doesn't make the team.

Once I saw North Korea play I knew it was going to be a close game. Fantastic chemistry throughout the team.

What shocked me is Portugal tying with Ivory Coast, what the fuck was that? Ivory Coast isn't that good guys, yeah they have some talent but Portugal is a top 10 team in the world. (they definitely didn't show it today)
