Cavs C Ilgauskas out with back injury
    Sunday, March 2, 2008 02:00 PM

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Cleveland Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas missed Sunday's game against the Chicago Bulls with a back injury.

The 7-3 Ilgauskas was diagnosed Saturday with a strained back and is listed as day-to-day.

Ilgauskas is averaging 13.5 points and 9.6 rebounds this season for the defending Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers (33-26), who are percentage points behind the Toronto Raptors (32-25) for fourth in the conference standings.

Cleveland has won four of its last six games despite being without shooting guard Daniel Gibson (ankle) and swingman Sasha Pavlovic (foot).

    Too funny.

Noc comes in and guards LeBron. First play, LeBron gets it on top of the key. Noc is in his grill. For about 3 seconds. LeBron just left him standing there. It was hilarious to see. Same thing next play.

But the Bulls have the lead after 3! In the Cavs' house.

    Wow

Bulls are blowing this game open.

No LeBron (resting), the Cavs struggle. They don't know what to do with Wally, they're feeding him in the post instead of setting him up for good looks at a 3.

Gordon has 7 points in the past 2 minutes. Huhges just hit a 2 with his toe on the 3pt line, and before that had a great fast break layup after stealing the ball - 1 on 2, he split the defenders and made the shot.

How about Gooden? 11 points, 10 boards in 27 minutes!

How 'bout him? Sit his ass! That's what Boylan's done.

    Where'd the lead go?

Is anyone else not surprised Hughes is flourishing with the lack of an offense?

WOW. That dunk by Lebron was monstrous. He probably got as high as Dwight did in his 1st dunk contest.

    Awesome.

Poor Deng, he's had a tough day on offense too.

Boylan's gotta go after the season. This is just the worst display of coaching I've ever seen.

I didn't like Skiles much, but this is a huge step down.
