Great win for the Mavs after a dissapointing loos in New York. This is one of the best games the Mavs have played that they played well throughout the whole game. They brought there energy t othe defensive and offensive side of the game which was great to see. It was good to see that Devin was ok after twisting his ankle at the end of the game. I saw a few great palys by Powell and his allyoop that was thrown by Armstrong and DJ had a jumper and a dunk and had a few rebouds and a block. These 2 players are really coming right along in my eyes.

Yeah Mbenga and Diop are becoming defensive forces. Especially Diop. This guy is getting better with decision making and not getting too aggresive on defense causing him to get in early foul trouble. I guess Avery knows what's best for this team by starting Diop. I don't think Dampier will get his starting job back unless he really plays well. Hopefully Harris isn't bothered by that ankle for next game.

its good that we didnt catch nj in the middle of their winning streak. rj being out really helped us i think. we managed to destroy nj on every end of the court. dirk and terry didnt produce their usual offensive output but it wasnt necessary as others like josh howard and keith van horn (?!?!) really stepped up. diop did a fairly decent job in his start. nj's to's really killed them tho...an excellent game for us [IMG]

the mavs upcoming schedule is Full of winnable games that we Should win...including a rematch with the bucks!!!

Mavs 110 Nets 77 Grades: Keith Singes the Nets

Think fast. When was the last Mavs blow out????? That would be when the Mavs destroyed the Detroit Pistons earlier this season. Lots of heroes tonight but it was Keith with a season high?.in the first half. Josh pitched in as well with a season high and one point short of a career high 30 points. The drama was thick tonight with the official benching of Erick Dampier, but tonight everything was clicking. All 12 Mavericks scored.

UPN 21 : A+; Nice to see a broadcaster who knows how to take advantage of timeouts. +36

Laura Green : A+; Laura provided incredible insight from the sidelines providing interesting tidbits of essential information from the Mavs? bench. +30

Johnson: A, Avery clearly got his point across. This wasn?t just about Erick although he may have taken the brunt of the Mavs struggles of late. The Mavs came out strong in the first period for the first time in a long time.

Howard: A, Erick wasn?t the only Maverick that had been struggling of late, but Josh made a giant step to erase everyone?s short-term memory tonight with an excellent all-around game. Josh?s 29 points (in 29 minutes) is a season high and only one point short of a career high. If this had been a real contest, he would have easily stayed in the game and set a new career high. Zero turnovers. +29

Nowitzki: A, Dirk only played 25 minutes but it wasn?t because of poor play. For once in the recent stretch of games, the Mavs didn?t have to ride Dirk into the ground. Dirk still put in 16 points (6-11 FG, 0-0 trey, 4-5 FT) to go with 3 rebounds and 3 assists. +15

Diop: B+, DeSagana did not got promoted to starting to score, but to block shots and grab rebounds. Diop only got credited with 2 blocked shots but definitely intimidated many more Nets? looks. DeSagana grabbed 7 and as a bonus only had 1 personal foul. Zero turnovers. +10

Griffin: B; Adrian just had his normal solid game. Just look up ?Glue Guys? in the dictionary and Arian will be featured. Griffin pitched in 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 points and 2 steals. +12

Terry: B, Jason pitched in 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 treys) to go with 2 steals, 2 assists and a rebound. +12

Van Horn: A+, Keith was another of the ?second year players? that Avery was upset with. Nevertheless, Keith was the first sub in the game and even more surprising it was for DeSagana at center. Keith responded with a season high 23 points (8-9 FG, 5-6 treys, 2-2 FT) as Keith was 7-7 from the field before his first miss. Keith even pitched in a nice blocked shot tonight. +24

Harris: B; Devin struggled with his shot, but had a game high 7 assists (keep in mind Jason Kidd was in the house) and a game high 3 steals. In an effort to keep up with Keith, Devin did have a nice blocked shot. +5

Stackhouse: B-, Jerry also struggled with his shot, but managed to dish out some sweet assists. Zero turnovers. +3

Dampier: B, Erick, the focus of all the drama, started the second and fourth quarters and actually played well. +6

Armstrong : B-, The best field goal kicker in Dallas muffed his first two plays but made up for it afterwards including a nice alley-oop to Josh Powell. +3

M?Benga: B, DJ pitched in 4 points (2-2 FG) along with 2 rebounds and a blocked shot. +6

Powell: B+, Josh pitched in 4 points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FG) including the nice alley-oop from Armstrong. Zero turnovers. +4

Daniels: DNP-Inactive, Marquis is out yet again with neck swelling from the Kurt Thomas clothes line hit.

Marshall : DNP-Inactive, Rawle has been sent to the Fort Worth Flyers (NBDL) to get playing time.

Podkolzin: DNC-Inactive, Pavel had surgery to repair his right foot and ankle and is expected to miss three months.

    Typical Chef Ed Type

Yeah I think the Nets with Jefferson would be tougher. Instead of 33 points win it would be a 20 win. lol. The nets are too soft in the interior to really give the mavs in any trouble. The bucks gave us trouble last time though so that is not a guaranteed win.
