<div class="quote_poster">THE DREAM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">One thing that really stood out to me last night, is that Dallas is still a jump shooting team....they don't really have anyone that can drive and breakdown a defense, and they have no offensive post weapons to counter the Ming Dynasty. </div> Josh Howard and Jason Terry are both pretty good at getting to the basket, generally. They do seem to be a midrange shooting team, quite often. We were fortunate that Terry (who's usually a Rockets killer) had such a terrible game. Give Rafer some credit for that.
yeah those two can do it occasionally, but I think Dallas really needs Devin Harris to be that guy that can start, because he's a pass first PG, Terry is more of a SG, than an actual point.
Here are photos I took at the game. These are the only ones that came out good, the others came out blurry since I had low batteries. I should have checked them before the game, oh well.
<div class="quote_poster">THE DREAM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">IT'S ROWDIE TIME!!!!........I've been looking forward to this date, since I won my tickets......we'll make sure to make it loud tonight......we have something special planned for every mavs fan that we run in to....lol. But as far as the game goes, I think the Rockets will be up for this one....I'll say Rockets 101 and Mavs 98.</div> Are you one of the Rowdies? If only I live near Houston maybe I would have watched the game regularly. I only manage to watch twice during the Guys Night Out promo last season. Impressive game by the Rockets. Nice to see Skip to my Lou doing his trademark streetball dribbling during one of the offensive runs too bad the recepient of the assist(is it Hayes or Luther?) miss the layup. It would have been an ESPN top 10 plays.
<div class="quote_poster">THE DREAM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">AWESOME game last night......Yao and Raefer were the biggest difference makers........Dallas doesn't have anyone that can stop Yao down low....this is why we had so many open looks at the 3 point line. One thing that really stood out to me last night, is that Dallas is still a jump shooting team....they don't really have anyone that can drive and breakdown a defense, and they have no offensive post weapons to counter the Ming Dynasty. Well the rowdies stayed loud......all in all I thought the crowd was pretty good last night, there were some people complaining that wanted us to sit down, but we decided to keep standing while being obnoxious....we tortured and swarmed EVERY dallas fan we saw........most of them were good sports about it, but one guy looked so depressed when he was walking to his car, that he just looked straight forward and didn't say anything...oh yes the Mavs do suck!</div> The rowdies were great last night. They helped keep the arena alive the whole time. All the chants...GO ROCKETS GO! Now that I think about it, for a blow out, it was very loud. I am happy JVG started the rowdies section.
