Common sense dictates that Vince is playing below standard because he is hurt. That much is blatant. However, his substandard passivity is also making the Nets offense less potent (and the nets offense is already friggin' terrible). So he's not really helping things either. It'd be better off if Carter just shut down and the Nets tanked for ping pong balls.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (killa kadafi191 @ Feb 6 2008, 11:15 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>where did I say VC doesn't compete or win games you quote me on that I'll shut up. Yea they are open to trading everyone now. Which again proves my point the contract was flawed and it shows how flawed the contract is when their is little to no interest in the player due to his contract. but I'm done here you have yet to quote me saying exactly VC doesn't compete or win games. I want a quote of me saying VC contract is stupid because he can't compete or win us games. I said his contract is stupid because it was done because they wanted him to be the face of the franchise and for money. Now I'm not going to get in an argument about who they shoulda signed. All that will turn to is you crying or babblin about how VC is better or equal to this player. I stated my opinion and I stand by it. Until you post me actually saying VC doesn't compete or win games you have lost this debate. You also lost this debate because The Nets also acknowledge how stupid this deal was and are trying to get rid of it now but it's okay to live in denial and feel everyone hates VC. We know you been infected with Vincsanity since 1998. I see Vincsanity affects rational thinking and makes the average person emotional</div> Good lord! ONCE AGAIN: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>VC contract is flawed because it was done not because they felt VC gave them the best chance to compete but because they felt he was more marketable.</div> RIGHT THERE! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I want a quote of me saying VC contract is stupid because he can't compete or win us games.</div> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>VC contract is flawed because it was done not because they felt VC gave them the best chance to compete but because they felt he was more marketable.</div> RIGHT THERE! Do you need reading glasses? Or are you just brain dead? Your argument is that Nets management only cares about $$$ and not about wins and that VC signing was made for marketing reasons and not for competitive reasons. How much clearer can it be explained to you? And they are open to trading anyone including VC because the Nets have underachieved thus far and if they see a good deal where they can rebuild they will probably take it. If they also come across a good deal where they can retool the roster to make a run for the playoffs they could take route also with the East being weak.
