    Let's recap the 1st Quarter:

    Kwame Brown has 2 Fouls
    Lakers score only 10 points
Kobe Bryant already has 4 turnovers
The Lakers team has 9 turnovers
The Lakers shot 20% from the field
Houston shot 59% from the field
Lakers got Houston into the bonus with 3 minutes left in the quarter and didn't get to the free throw line once

All this adds up to Houston leading 29-10 after the 1st quarter.

Wow, give him a yellow headband, and a Lakers' jersey and you're absolutely right.

The Rockets are playing great basketball, and the Lakers don't seem to value their posessions. So much for a fresh Lakers' squad taking advantage of a tired (but don't seem to be) Rockets team.

Who's Luke's daddy? That would be Bonzi Wells. [IMG]

Those two post ups by Bonzi made me very happy. This team needs a second post up threat, and he has to be that guy. Forget about taking the three pointers Bonzi, just attack the basket.

Completely off-topic: Last night the entire Clipper team almost died in a plane crash on their flight to Portland. They got caught in turbulence and a lot of players got airsick and vomitted on the plane. Pretty crazy.

Whoah. I can't imagine what the league would do if an entire team died in a plane crash.

JVG made the adjustment. He put Chuck Hayes on Luke and put our guard on Radman.

Yeah, smart adjustment, and the Lakers were stupid to not pound the ball inside with Radman.

I'm surprised Turiaf isn't in the game yet. Lakers need some energy right now, and Turiaf has plenty to go around.

Haha Lakers have 11 turnovers already. Ugh.

Mutombo is the only player old enough to be anyone's daddy.

I guess the Lakers will have to go on a 26-1 run in the 4th quarter.

We're giving up too many offensive rebounds. Juwan -- grab a damn defensive board!

Yao must have a set a career record of 6 blocks in one half.

Smush is so pathetic on defense. He almost gave up a wide open 3 to end the half.

Today is the day I (finally) became a fan of Yao. His future is scary good.

Yay! Yao is pretty scary good now, and his future too. Lol, because of how good Yao is doing I want to root for the underdog and see Kwame score some and play some good defense.

His development has crept up on the league out of nowhere. The last 3 games i've seen him blocking shots like Mutombo, pass out of the double team better than just about any center, and do Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki moves. It's been said that this is a big man's game, if that is the case, the West favorites should be Phoenix with Amare and Houston with Yao. In the east you've got Dwight and Ben Wallace playing like the old Ben. 27 REBOUNDS tonight!! big men are back....here's hoping we get to watch some great big men rivalries instead of Shaq. versus everyone else!
