The next two games should be gimmies. Dont worry guys, we are headed to the playoffs, and we gonna get past the first round as long as we dont get CAVs in the first round.</div>

Although I don't disagree about sitting Ford down for the next two games or so to get him healthy, there's no such thing as "gimmies". Do you not remember our loss to Portland without Randolph and a recent loss to the worst team in the league - Memphis?

We are in no position to take any team lightly, especially not if we want to make the playoffs.

<div class="quote_poster">deception Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">btw, isn't chris bosh reminding you more and more of vince carter? he seems to be laughing incessantly on the sidelines even when he's losing and he's always bitchin about his injury woes.</div>

I haven't been big on Bosh lately, but your comparison is ridiculous. I think that bosh isn't the player we need with the uptempo style we sometimes run. I think that Mitchell should clearly devide the starters and bench players whenever possible, and run Iso's for bosh in the half court sets for the starters, and let the run and gun O go for the bench. Clearly our bench is our strong point. Tj also isn't doing a very good job giving the ball to bosh in places that optimise his strenghts. But no excuses, bosh was awful. Even if the offensive end isn't coming, he should be workin his butt off on d, which he wasen't. I don't understand how someone can be a monster on the boards one game, and get a grand total of 1 rebound in an entire half, especailly when the opposition was shooting around 42%. As for his attitute, bosh has never been the firey player that I wanted him to be. Personally, my favorite 5 to see on the floor right now are Garbo, bargs, Mo, Ap, and Calderon. Garbo is the complete player, grabbin defensive boards, knocking down J's, hustleing and playing good D. Bargs need to face the basket more, get in the paint, and box out on D, but you can see his is clearly making progress. Mo seems to be out of the doghouse, and i'm glad to see it, and parker works hard on both ends of the ball. Tj is too up and down to be my starter....at least with Jose you know what ur gonna get. He can't guard carter but he can be pesky to the likes of Kidd and Williams.

    <div class="quote_poster">a13x Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">So here's the #'s from earlier in the season.
    1st loss to New Jersey:
Rasho: 10 minutes .. raptors out rebounded 52-38
    2nd game, win at home
Rasho: 37 minutes. Raptors / Nets 45 rebounds each.
Tonight: 10 minutes for Rasho ... hmmmm

Getting killed on the boards tonight was a disgrace

I agree with you on going small somewhat. I still think we needed Rasho in the game but other than that I don't like the idea of having Bargnani and Garbo chasing NJ swing men around the court.

I'm not appologising for bad play but Ford's ankle was clearly bum, i'm not going to write him off completely. He was just trying to play the way he does when he's full strength. That's no excsue for the rest of the players.</div>

ford is suffering from a bum ankle cause chuck swirsky said so, come on!!! ford has been turnover prone all season and he's yet to play well with bosh. the play that really annoyed me was when he threw up a three, when he had missed his previous mid range shots. questionable shot selection is the best term one can use to describe fords play.

u never addressed the vc end of the comparison. their styles are obviously different but their attitudes and approaches are frighteningly similar, e.g. laughing during games; their shameless self promotion; getting their boyz on the team and the fake, tough guy image.
