bakers won't kill hordes of gays with a cake more than likely either....weird analogy about someone out of control with weapons near a celebration following a massive shooting at a country western concert in Vegas....caution may be required given recent events

He was not out of control with weapons.

He was unarmed, and actually refused to go to his room where he had stored them for safekeeping (so they wouldn't be stolen by criminals.)

According to the police, anyway, who did not charge him with any weapons violations.

you nor I were there...but you got my point...you have to be really out of control for a hotel to call the cops on you while you're buying their booze....the precaution in this circumstance has nothing to do with 2nd amendment rights...it has to do with hotel patrons rights to enjoy their stay

    'Poisoned cake' murder
    12 February, 2015 00:00
BALLYBAY (County Monaghan) chemist gave evidence yesterday at Dublin Central Criminal Court of selling sixteen grains of strychnine for killing rats. Mr Henry Manley said that the purchaser was Miss Agnes McAdam, a fifty-three-year-old spinster of Derrylosk, Ballybay who was charged with the murder by poisoning of James Finnegan (65), a farmer of Ballybay, on September 28. The prosecution allege that Finnegan died from poisoning by strychnine, which they say was contained in a cake which Miss McAdam brought to his house. She has pleaded not guilty.

Miss Lily Finnegan (28), daughter of the dead man, cross-examined for the defence, said that about 500 people were expected at a social for two priests who were going away, and Miss McAdam brought two cakes to her home, stating, 'They are only out of the oven.'

Jack McAdam, farmer, said he lived with his wife and his sister (the accused). There were rats on his farms and he had used rat poison to exterminate them. Mr McAdam said that since his sister had had her hand injured by a threshing machine some years ago, she had worn a glove and her nerves had been affected.

Hugh O'Neill, a farmer, said that on September 28 he saw a dog in a dying condition in Finnegan's kitchen. Daniel O'Neill, another farmer, said he saw James Finnegan sitting on a stove outside his house. Finnegan was convulsed with about five seizures.

The refusal to allow armed customers had nothing to do with this individual or his intoxication, it is a blanket discrimination against all who wish to bear arms. It is posted at the door and applies to everyone except LEO's while on duty.

    Girls charged over sickening cake
Georgia teens due in court after classmates fall ill
Friday, November 19, 2004 Posted: 10:12 AM EST (1512 GMT)

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- Two suburban Atlanta schoolgirls accused of using a poisoned cake to sicken more than a dozen classmates are scheduled to appear before a juvenile court judge on assault charges Friday.

Twelve students suffered from abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhea, and three others have reported similar symptoms, police said. Investigators suspect the cake contained bleach and glue, among other substances, but Cobb County Police spokesman Cpl. Dana Pierce said the remnants of the dish have not yet been tested.

"We're looking for a lab, a private or government lab, to test that for us," Pierce said.

The girls, both 13, were being held in the Cobb County juvenile detention center in Marietta on Thursday. Each faces 12 counts of aggravated assault with intent to commit murder, police said.

One of the girls has been charged with an additional count of making terrorist threats after reportedly telling her classmates the cake they were eating contained bleach. But the girl's father -- an occasional freelance writer for CNN -- said his daughter denies putting bleach in the cake, though she admits to mixing in glue.

The father called the incident "a bad prank."

"It wasn't anybody trying to kill anybody," he said, adding that his daughter suffers from Asperger's syndrome, a form of autism.

The girls can't be tried on assault charges as adults. But Cobb County District Attorney Pat Head said he needs to verify the contents of the cake before deciding whether other charges might be warranted.

"It could be that it stays serious, or it could be that the analysis of the cake says that there was nothing in there that was that harmful," he said. "In that case, we'll look at what the appropriate charges should be."

Authorities could not say when test results would be available.
