I would have personally preferred Hank tomorrow because it's at home. Let him get the fans behind him and take his lumps at home where we all (should) support him no matter the score. On the road, in a hostile environment for his first game back isn't what I would have chosen. But I'm not the coach. Maybe he starts both. Who knows?
By the way. Has anyone else noticed the refs swallowing their whistles these past few games. Only 3 PP chances the past 4 games for our guys. Mess, I'm not saying pressure would have mattered, but first game back in 2 months would be nice to be played at home instead of on road. I'm not implying that Rangers would be winning, just that I would have started Hank at home instead of on road for fan support and love.
The only ones who would care are some fans. I doubt Hank cares. Plus, it's not about that. It's about getting him back in there.
Must have been a gentlemans agreement between these teams. Rangers agree not to show up, and the Bruins agree not to run it up. What a shitty game!
Quite frankly I don't think it mattered if Hank played today or tomorrow. The team didn't play well for the first 25-30 minutes. Came out flat. All there is to it. Magic number to clinch the Met is 7 over the Pens and 5 over the Isles. Any combo of 7 gained by us or lost by the Pens and we clinch the division. Stay healthy. Officially lock up the Met. Hopefully stay ahead of TB (.500 on the road). If we finish 2nd in the East behind Montreal so be it. Away we go.
