You need to be smart in the draft. Doesn't mean you need to tank for the draft to be a perennial contender... OR a winner.

The point some are(including you) trying to make is that champions are bred through their own lottery picks is it not?

If this is the case then OKC is absolutely not the right team you want to spotlight to help solidify your stance.

We got Lillard at 6, McCollum at 10 and Crabbe at 31. That's being very smart. Our time to draft will has gone by and we've been successful. Now is when the trade comes along.

I just want the team to have a legit shot, so therefore I am a rational fan. I've made many comments in the past that Id prefer an overall winning team even if we didn't win it all over tanking year after year for a one year potential run.
