Yeah, not sure what happened there, but I've fixed my post above. The Thunder come in at #5 on the list of teams with available cap space. I copied and pasted from the Cap Tracker page at Spotrac, but I must have inadvertently deleted the Thunder when I was cleaning it up for posting. Sorry.

All are possibilities. Which is all OB and I are saying. Your position has been "He would NOT be better off signing a qualifying offer from us over a multi year, multi million dollar deal." I find that position too definitive. I posit that he might not be better off signing a QO, but then again, he might.

I remain convinced that Harkless' camp is hoping they get an actual multi-year offer worth more than what the Blazers have probably offered to date.
Blazers are offering the QO for 1 year at $4+M. They may also be offering a contract up to $8-9M/yr which keeps them just under the LT. It would be a huge surprise and pretty foolish for the team to be offering a larger contract when so far, there are no other bidders!! (Darius Miles was in the same position and somehow convinced team to sign him to large contract when NO OTHER TEAM was bidding) Hoping they don't make the same mistake!

Miami is so fucked. They lost Deng and Wade. This is Wade's replacement?

Sorry, I don't read the "offseason chat" very much but I don't see a team offering a significant contract to Harkless..... yet. I mean a desperate team like Brooklyn might gl for him.... but has Harkless really shown enough outside for that hot streak in the playoffs? Again, I don't follow the offseason banter like you guys do. Betting on himself with the Blazers in the short term seems to make sense.
