I know he was bad at Cleveland and it may or may not have been his fault but he has lost whatever bit of speed he ever had. I just don't think he can take anyone to the Playoffs, let alone the Lions. They are just a mistake prone team. Every year people have said that they will be a sleeper team and every year they come out and prove the "experts" wrong! They will not make the playoffs this year

That's not that old for a three time Pro Bowler in Mariucci's offence. Brett Favre, Mark Brunell, Trent Green all come to mind when I think of 35 year old QB's. Plus look at what Vinny has done in the two weeks since he's come off the couch! I'm not going to say the Lions are a playoff team with Garcia, but there's no doubt he gives them their best chance. He can still move around and can hit recievers on the short and medium routes. I hope he's ready for Sunday in Cleveland.

Def if the Lions change to Garcia they'll have a better chance to win the North. The question is though, Will you get the guy who played for the Browns or 49ers? Now granted the weapons weren't their in Cleveland but in Detroit Rogers is out 3 more games, Roy Williams is banged up as well. So that means rookie Mike Williams will have to step up. I think he can and will. Kevin Johnson has actually looked better than all 3 of them sometimes. Pollard is great to. The problem could be Kevin Jones can't get it going and the o-line. The Lions O has a lot of problems going right now. You can have all the weapons in the world but a bad O-line gives you bad results. Someone needs to step up there. I would say give Garcia the call when he's healthy. Don't push him to fast. Garcia might be what the franchise needs to turn it around. Actually is anyone shocked that Garcia is probably going to get the nod at QB. I'm not. I've dubt Harrinton a BUST at the end of last season.
is it possible that Joey Harrington has been sqitched by some Detroit Lions hating Group and Freddy Prince Jnr. has been paid to act as a QB. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Wannab Favre)</div><div class='quotemain'>When exactly is Garcia comng back from his Broken leg</div> He's been cleared to play Sunday in Cleveland. I have a feeling they may give him one more week to heal. That means Joey Boy may get one more start ... but if he's sucking Sunday and the game is within reach, I'd bet we'll see Garcia.
