Just for the record, Olshey traded Mario Hezonja (who has negative value) + a 2nd round pick for Giles.... which was effing brilliant. Note: for those confused... we would have received Kanter + 2nd rounder for our exception. Instead, we shipped the 2nd rounder and Mario for a roster spot. Then, we used the roster spot on Giles. In total, we received Kanter and Giles for a trade exception and Mario. Feels like Exec of the Year shit, to me.
I would imagine there are GM's sitting back thinking holy crap look at the roster & depth Olshey has put together. Bet Luke was thinking that last night. And just think he may not be done?
after watcbing last night, who would you trade him for and who might you include to make it happen assuming you would be taegeting an impact wing? Or would you prefer to try a lopsided trade for a backup pg and clear cap space like you mentioned for trent, etc? when trading to clear cap space i think trade options significantly decrease due to only so many teams able to take on without shipping out? Ill say this. I wouldnt be opposed to trading cj with how the team roster looks. But not trade to just trade. It has to improve the team. CJ does make us better even with his flaws. He is still our best shot creator one on one. Or one on five even. Lol. im just not sure what trade is viable and doesnt make us take a step back? trent surely looked improved. But ready to step into a starting guard spot requiring alot of ball handling? Not sure he is ready for that quite yet when our sf and pf are not also offensive players? I think we need cj’s offense more than trents 3d, in the starting lineup.
It is pretty crazy to think that last nights game didn't include 3 guys, one of which is a starter. I honestly hope that no one on the team averages more than 33 minutes a night, and dame doesn't have to average 30 a game this year. I'd be happy if he averaged 22-24, and the team as a whole still is top 5 offensively (and clearly I hope they're top 10 defensively).
I'm trying not to get too excited about Harry because for him to receive consistent minutes one of two things must happen: 1.) Injuries 2.) He thoroughly outplays two other guys ahead of him AND the team is playing bad enough for Stotts to warrant a change. Neither scenario is a good one for the team.
pretty sure Tunchi is before your time and had more posts deleted than were not. Curious how you would know about him? AldoTunchi
Disagree. He can easily outplay Kanter for minutes, as happened in Boston. Or Giles can be better in those matchups that don't have a plodding center. Maybe he gets time at PF with others sliding to SF.
Dude just told on himself. He has said over and over again that he doesn't know who Tunchi is. Now he's all "Not crazy like Tunchi". Don't fall for it. That is Tunchi.
