So after 3 days and 5 pages of posts it appears "Clown Town" is not exactly sure who should start even after O-Live has spoken.

Im thinking Josh Hart will perform at a very high level and a good percentage of it will be at the 2 position.

Back in the day Kevin McHale would fit that bill....he was the second highest paid Celtic and came off the bench...HOFer ...Ginobli was another bench superstar

And the stacked teams they were on.
    I mean bird, parish, etc.
mchale became a starter at 28 but had already made an all star team!
Some more notable bench players during their prime:

    Jon Havlicek
    Vinnie Johnson (closest Ant comp?)
    Michael Cooper
    Jamal Crawford
    Lou Williams
    Andre Iguodala

These players were considered the best or near best at something on their team, yet came off the bench most of thier careers.

I see no issue with Ant coming off the bench, but better yet, would like to see him in a trade to bring back an all star level pf, slide the rotation down and be alot bigger.
    Ant+ for Siakim?

if it was Siakam I think the + would be too expensive

might be better if it was Ant + a pick for somebody like John Collins. Of course, I have no idea why Atlanta would want a Trae + Ant backcourt

    Hart/Payton/Sharpe
    Grant/Little/Sharpe
    Siakim/Walker/Watford
    Nurk/Eubanks/Sarr

Could use one more solid contributor and i think thats a contender. Not favorites. Just a contender.

Simons/Little/Payton for Siakim works for the cap.
    Is that too much?

i think we should try to do it.

Yeah. I figure contending is in the mix. 345 seed. Course you got to play defense and get past the first round.

He playing with Dame Simons Grant Nurk. That leaves him the 5th option in that lineup. That's why he either should start at the 2 or come off the bench to give area a spark.

I hope so! I miss the guy who was scoring aggressively , especially his 3-point shots.

Winslow (to me) is a much better 5th option. He's built to be a 5th option, and to make Nurk a devastating weapon that will wear down opponents, like he did in Memphis last season (as one example, there were many such games until the plug was pulled on Nurk).
It makes me sick that Hart has given up his 3-point shooting completely.

It makes more sense to have Simons to come off the bench as a spark.

Dame/Hart/Winslow(or Little)/Grant/Nurk has much better balance both offensively & defensively than Dame/Ant/Hart/Grant/Nurk

There's really not much difference between SG and SF offensively

There's a huge difference between Josh Hart last season and Josh Hart this season.
What is the reason for that?

We need to make a trade. Hart is a better SF than anybody else on the team not named Grant.

For many years the Celts had a rule that their 2nd best forward came off the bench. Havlicek, Silas and McHale all thrived in that role.
