i have friends that have participated in studies but never any for that amount of time(and i think they most the ever got was in the $1500 range).

i'd suggested finding out what the drug is going to be and look it up online to see what tests they've already done with it, what phase of the testing it is in, and all that kind of stuff. basically just research it so you know what you're going into and if you really want to do it.

oh and just so you know, if it's anything like the studies my friends have done, you can constantly have money deducted for things like being late to have blood drawn or not finishing all the food they give you to eat and things of that nature.

Google "Tegenero" and see if you think it's worth it. I actually work for a biotech company and have a pretty good idea how these things work. While you'd be fine more often than not, it really is probably not worth the risk.

If you're set on it, google the crap out of the drug that's being studied to see what side effects might be and also try to check the dosing. In some healthy volunteer studies, the dosing is so low that it's darned close to just being water and that would also help your chances of avoiding problems. Last thing, if you actually took the time to google tegenero, you'd see that they don't always know the type or severity of side effects and no matter how much research beforehand, you'll always have some risk. Maybe try sperm or plasma donation instead.
