I find it strange that the forum is being reported to the Blazers, for 'allowing' racist comments to happen, and the proof is screen shots since the stuff was edited out. My guess is whoever reads the complaint will laugh at it and go "oh my god, John, check this out. Someone on a message board is having a flame war with someone else on a message board with maybe 20 regular posters. No, it's called Sports two. Never heard of it? Me neither actually. I didn't know we had an official message board either, this is 2019. Most people now-a-days use instagram, twitter and tik-tok. Who the hell uses message boards anymore anyway? Into the garbage you go"
You broke the rules. Marzy broke the rules. There are consequences. You both were warned and continued to be warned and continue to break rules and then play victim after the consequences come. The result of refusing to accept your actions and continuing to post insults ended in you being banned. The same with Marzy. You have no one to blame except yourself. I am very human. As a Moderator I am not biased. I mod using the rules and only the rules. I am objective. Again, careful with your accusations.
The problem with this board's constitution is that it makes no provision for checks and balances. With a unicameral ruling body, there is no offsetting legal system to throw naysayers into jail. A dozen moderate moderators are not up to the task, even if you make it two dozen, which would only increase Denny's deficit spending. There is a more efficient way. With trumpets humming and banners flying over the kazoo melodies, I officially call upon the powers-that-be to solemnly grant the people the right to a new institution--the Antimoderators. This would be an esteemed group of a dozen thinkers who raise hell in every thread. Like King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table, the Antimoderators would ride around creating and solving disputes by organizing land ownership and private property. With 99% of all idea wealth held by the top 1% of Sports2 posters, we will have a stable, nondivisive board. I call upon Denny to get out of his swimming suit, leave his giant yacht, and set sail for Portland in his mini-sub to take command of the revolution.
We all took an oath to be hall monitors, knowing full well we'd get a small, very loud and vocal minority who will accuse us of conspiring against them, despite the fact that Sly has explicitly told us not to conspire against anyone but him.
