Miller's 33 years old. In spite of his lack of height, he's pretty much been a combo guard for most of his career. He took 14 and 13 FGA per game the past two seasons. In comparison, Ben Gordon took 16 last season, Roy took 16, and LMA took 15+. The guy is a scorer and a passer, not a pass-first PG. Combo guard, like I said.
You must not have been around this board much when this board convinced me that Miller was a pass-first PG. I hate his game right now, and he's making this team worse. I trust this will be corrected during the first month of the season, however.
I think that by the end of the season, he'll have more assists than Blake had last season, and he'll be a solid #3 option on offense. There's going to be a few games where he plays like the #1 option, too - something Blake couldn't do.
