There's definitely a lot of stuff here that still has to be answered. It doesn't add up right now, but it could just be gross negligence or poor reporting..
More than likely it was a series of spectacular failures. I just do not see this being staged when someone actually died. If it was those firecracker tier pops, a Trump ear grab, and that was the end of it -- sure. The thing that gets me are the multiple people who witnessed Crooks scale the rooftop, warned the police and secret service, and watched with their nuts in a sling as he lined up a shot that would've blown through the back of Trump's skull if he hadn't moved his head to the right as he spoke.
I just read a report on Reuters that said Crooks is the shooter. I also saw photos of Crooks on Twitter and it appears to be the young man. Unless they were manipulated, the ear matches the death photo. They're saying he was a registered Republican but he also once donated $15 to a Democratic fund-raising organization. MAGA Twitter doesn't seem to believe it's Crooks and now is actively running with Stone saying it was Maxwell Yearick, who it says was antifa. He'd be about 37 years old now and while their are some facial similarities with pics of him seven years ago, it doesn't look like Yearick was the deceased. Of course, they won't believe that now. EDIT: The donation to ActBlue is in question. It might be another person with almost the same name that lives in the Pittsburgh area. The donation would have had to have been made when the shooter was 17. The one thing that seems likely is they were a gun enthusiast, judging by the Demolition Ranch shirt and using the AR-15. Demolition Ranch is a YouTube site about guns, and they sell a lot of merch through their website. The stuff I've seen is that they don't claim to back a political candidate, although I saw a photo that I couldn't authenticate of Donald Trump Jr. with the owner.
This is how crazies are born. Enough people spew hateful nametags to the point everyone believes it and rains judgement down on others based on opinions and personal feelings and then the extremists follow the word and put it into action. this is why i cant stand generalistic labels condemning others based off of differences of opinions. Racist Nazi Rapist Trump has been called all these things ad nausium. And some extremist put those hate words into action. but i thought it was the right that incites violence? You want voter fraud? Here it is. This is the peak of free election denial. And by who? A Trump hater, very likely a lefty. Ive been hearing and reading for years how the right wants a war. How they want to end democracy. You know what? actions speak louder than words but there is one word that comes to mind anytime i read some comments. Hypocrit. I want peace. Yeah? Really? With all the violent pushing hate labels being tossed out there all the time? People talking about staged? Okay How about it was a lefty who did it to provoke trump into turning us into a military state if he wins. so ill join the game. Here is my opinion im just gonna claim as fact. The left shot at trump but intentionally did not kill him, In hopes he wins the election and sends us into a civil war. The left wants to tear it all down. How better than to get the other side to do it and then blame them for it???? Genius. Evil genius But just the Facts!!!!! Its hilarious how some say Trump will create a war with his words. Yet its the lefts’ words that have caused the first shot. Just read @Road Ratt comments! Sickening. A guy who claims he wants peace, not killing Trump was a failure. The double standard is sooo mindboggling insane, i really think more and mote people are simply incapable of using deductive reasoning on thier own actions, speech and behavior. It all has cause and effect. Kids growing up reading hate memes constantly and you want peace? Do you not see how our children will grow to become more hateful? There is only one way to stop hate. Love. Someone has to take the high road. Someone has to be the bigger individual. Someone has to stop the endless cycle of hatred. It starts with ourselves. In our circles of friends. Stop talking about who you hate and why and talk about what you love and why. We are conditioned to behave and react to atrocities and not beauty. I truly pray people open their eyes to the cycle they are a part of and realize no matter how much you disagree with someones policies, hate speech does nothing but makes things worse and instigates crazies to do things like this and this could be the tip pf the iceburg. Stop the hate speech/meme trend. Be better than the average hater. Walk above those who have nothing but hate and revenge in their hearts. Pull away from those who turn their opinions into hatred of anyone who disagrees. These are the ones who will pull this county down the toilet. These are the ones who claim they want peace but live their lives hating half of society. These are the ones who will end this country if we keep feeding off of their hatred. Break the hate trend. Find something to love and focus on that.
This is the real Thomas Crooks (pronouns was/were). What a stupid kid. But a well played troll by the blond kid, who was obviously trying to look like the middle picture.
Yes, this bothers me too. On one hand, I appreciate those who have expressed their disdain for this, but on the other hand, many of those same people have been railing about how "Trump = Hitler" and is an "existential threat to our democracy". I mean hell, if you really believe that they why wouldn't you cheer on his assassin?
I don't think the guy trolling was trying to look like the middle photo. I think he legitimately looks similar. The New York Post ran his photo along with the middle one and drew him into it. He took it from there.
He was clearly posing to mimic that picture. He pulled a good prank and was laughing about it for awhile, see his twitter profile @jewgazing. But the blowback was too much for him and he went into protected mode.
I went to the site and tried to pull up the record, using every possible zip code for Bethel Park. https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/Pages/voterregistrationstatus.aspx
