I got in 2 fights. They weren't really that big though, maybe like scuffles. Some guy kicked my sister for no reason and I whooped his ass so bad he was bleeding. My seocnd fight was a month ago with my 3rd cousin. He pissed me off too much. All he did was talk sh*t so I had to knock some snse into him. I haven't lost a fight yet.

Havn't fought in any fights. I've stopped one though. I was playing ball with a bunch of people during lunch in 8th grade (grade 9 now), and my black friend fouled this other guy, and the guy slapped him and called him a racist term (I'm sure you all know which one) because he was mad I guess. My friend punched the guy in the neck, the guy fell down and he kept smashing his head against the concrete and he punched him in the face hardcore a few times, me and my other friends had to hold him back. The guy ended up with a fractured skull, and my friend had a broken hand because he missed one of the punches and it hit the ground so hard his knuckle bone or whatever popped up.

Nothing big, but a year ago, since I was new to the school, this kid decided since I was Chinese he would push me around. Everyday in class he would be like, let me copy your homework. I was cool with it at first, because I didn't really think much of it. Then he started cracking jokes about me every class period, and started to really piss me off. So one day at lunch I saw him in the lunch lines, and he was like, hey, gimme a quarter. I told him I needed the money to get lunch, and he said "don't be like that. I thought we were friends." At that point I started to get really pissed off, and I let him know after school that if he doesn't shut up, I would make him. No punches were thrown or anything, but I just shoved him once or twice, and now we're cool. lol (We're friends now. We are in the same break dance crew)

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting M Two One:</div><div class="quote_post">Best quote on the Off-Topic forum so far.

All of the fights I've ever been in were in defense of myself or defending someone else because they were my friends. Most of which were never proper fights as they just ended up being one or two punch knock downs to scare away or knock out. Usually I prefer to solve differences with talking and understanding, but there are so many idiots out there that believe their tough guys.

The only proper fight I was in was when this guy was holding a female friend of mine up by her hair in High School. You can understand then why it pissed me off. I punched him in the back of his head and continued to smash him into a wall and when he finally fell to the floor I kept punching him until two PE teachers pulled me off. I'll spare the details of what he looked like when I was finished, but the school suspended me for 20 days - 7 out of school, 13 in school.</div>

Thanks. I mean I'm quite capable of defending myself, I workout and I have a punching bag I use alot, but I'm not one to just go around smashing people or starting things for no reason. Like some of the fights i've seen have been over the most stupid things, and the people involved end up with broken noses, hands, police records etc. It's not worth it. And especially today when a large portion of teenagers carry around knives and other such instruments. I had an encounter once where I almost got stabbed by this guy and I didnt even say or do anything to him.

Also props to you for protecting your friend like that, doesnt sound very fair that you got suspended though.

Pretty much the same way in real life. I got into a couple scuffles here and there when I was younger..but nothin big. I came close to literally snapping on people a couple of times as I got older..but people held me back. People do fight over some stupid stuff though.

I pretty much not the type that'll get into fights unless I gotta defend myself or protect others that are close to me.

What I don't get though is how some people will try to bait you into wanting to fight..I hate that.

You and I are a lot alike in that sense as I too work out a lot and try to stay in good shape. I'm fit enough to play pro Rugby Union, but for my size even back in High School I wouldn't go about picking fights with people. What the hell for? As you've mentioned, the majority of fighting is over the dumbest reasons imaginable. For instance many people that threaten you or something and they will get in your face. Why hit them? All of them back off, at least all of which I've ever dealt with have because they're actually scared and try to position themselves with authority. You can show your own authority by simply doing nothing, unless you have to defend yourself that is. However, that's entirely different.

In some instances even stabbing each other with knives over some kind of small thing that could've been resolved with a conversation it sad. You just stop to think about it sometimes and say to yourself, "I can't imagine for what reason life should be thrown to waste for such pitiful BS." Sadly though this world is full of weirdoes like that, I had to deal with that even when I was a little kid. If you want to discuss some things I have some more stuff you'd probably find interesting, but I'd prefer not to discuss them on the forum.

As for that suspension; the school had to do it. I thought it wasn't fair myself at first, but when I think back to it now and how he looked like afterward I consider myself lucky not to have been expelled. But that damn bastard deserved it. I consider myself to be a pretty laid back person with a good temper control, but there are three things that piss me off more than anything else - Someone that would: hurt women; hurt children; hurt animals.

Haven't gotten in any fights though I can remember at least twice I've gone after someone but they either ran off or walked away. Never had anyone come after me since I'm pretty chill and don't do stupid sh*t. I've seen plenty of fights though and to be honest I think they settle whatever issue the two people were arguing about more than if they would have "talked it out" and both been unhappy with the outcome. Unless it's gang related then it's a never ending series of violence that doesnt solve anything.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Actually I remember a couple of months before high school finished for me, there was a group of around twenty people in the grade below us running around the school as if they ran it(probably because in a couple of months when we left they would be the oldest in the school). One of them attacked somebody in my year(grade) and around twenty to thirty of us decided to show them that they don't run things. Around twenty of us lined up on one side, and twenty of them on the other. There was about to be a brawl but a crowd started to gather and the teachers came running out to see what was going on. We left it as that but for the remaining two months, they didn't do anything to the rest of the school(i.e stealing footballs/basketballs/money from the younger kids).

Now I think about it, that thing would have been nasty because we had some kids who didn't give a sh*t and weapons such as knives could have been pulled out. If that mass fight would have gone down, the next two months would have been crazy with retalliation attacks etc..</div>
Same thing happened rather often in my middle school. Usually I'd be a cronie of one of the people in the fight and we'd be walking to another side of the school and soon enough all the dumbass younger kids would come following us then the teachers all followed and nothing could ever happen during school on that large of a scale.

One story I can think of was in freshman year my friend (who is a beast fighter and has fake teeth and everything) got into it with a sophmore kid and they were going to fight after school. After school my friend was looking for him with me and some others with him. Eventually we found him at the busstop and he was sitting on his bike and my friend walks up and says "I thought you were going to kick my ass after school." and the kid stands up and says "I am!" and my friend just lays one right on his eye and he falls about 4 feet away from the bike and my friend proceeds to keep beating his ass while he's on the ground. Well not long after this senior, who was friends with the kid who just got his ass kicked, gets in my friends face but they don't fight though my friend would have definitely whooped his ass as well. Funny thing is like a week later my friend and the guy whose ass he beat were friends but I've always felt akward when I'm with them at the same time.

The best fights are the girl fights though. First one I ever saw a titty flew out and the 2 girls jut beat the hell out of each other for like 5 minutes. Needless to say it was very entertaining and the girls always talk way more trash during the fight and it's always over something really stupid.

    [IMG] Titty flew out.

I have yet to witness a girl fight in person....sadly. (Although I condone fighting, and hope that no girls actually get hurt in the process...in fact I HATE when girls fight....but anyway.)

Unfortunetly, the girls that I know of that have gotten into fights get into organized fights..as in typical brown fights where loads of people are called for absolutely no reason. However, I remember in one case I heard about this girl I knew from school, and her crew, going into another school and just grabbing the girls that talked sh*t about them and beatin each one of them seperately in between classes. I don't know how they managed to avoid the authorities for that long, enough to beat down all the girls involved, and I definetly don't know wtf was wrong with that's school's security system, but it worked.

When I was in grade 9, these two dudes got so into thier fighting (over something BEYOND stupid...it was cause the guy brushed him or something) that one of them (who talked a lot of sh*t and always boasted about his crew, and initiated the fight) ended up with a broken FACE...the other guy was a boxer or something and beat the living shi*t out of him in the cafe. Funny thing is, the "crew" that the guy used to always boast about didn't really step into the fight until thier friend had the living shi*t beaten out of him already and the teachers had come in to rescue him.

block with your weaker arm, keep blocking until u see an opening, and connect with your stronger arm

most people are stupid, dey swing randomly and hope it'll connect...u want to connect hard, u only need to do it a couple times before the other person is too hurt to keep on

Like I said I've never been in a fight but I've seen plenty of them and you should have some technique or strategy when you fight instead of just going in swinging. Like KS1 said, try to protect your face with your weak arm like a boxer would. Also you should assess the physical size of your opponent; if he's bigger or heavier then you want to avoid being hit at all costs because one good shot could really hurt you and you want to find and opening nail him and get back out of his reach (then repeat). If he's smaller than you you'd probably want to get as close as possible so you can hit him more. Also from what I've seen getting the first punch in is gonna sway things to your side since fights are usually pretty short and every good punch counts alot. So be the aggressor in a fight unless you know the guy is a very good fighter.

Also you gotta be quick on your feet, constantly moving. I can remember one fight back in 8th grade where these 2 guys were fighting and one pushed the other one away but after pushing him he was on his heels and the guy who got pushed took a huge stride and clocked the guy, it was lights out at that point. So stay on your toes and don't get flat footed (might be easier if you've played organized football before since they drill that into your head).

Take up Martial Arts or Amatuer Wrestling. In my honest opinion those are great for self-defense. Just don't get overboard with either of them, alright? Remember that until someone actually tries to hit you, you shouldn't have to hit them. Even so, if they're swinging wildly and never hit you or hurt you for that matter just toss em' to the ground until they stop.

That way you don't even have to really hurt anyone.

lol, i also have never been in a real fight. I find the funniest things about high school fights, is that they all start out with people getting in each others faces, then they go back and forth saying, "hit me first" like 100 times. People are such babies. No one has ever had any beef with me, so im good. But one time, this guy was like hit me, and see what happens, sot eh gusy creamed him. The other guy got up, and called him a pu**y, and said he wasnt worth his time, it was hilarious.

I been in a couple fights in my life, a few have been because of basketball.

Once, in 9th grade, in summer league, someone just grabbed me from behind while I up in the air for a shot(which would of cause serious injuy if I came down and landed wrong), I landed on my back, rebounded up, and just one hit, pop the guy across the face, blood just started spilling everywhere, he fell down on the floor crying...and whenever we played each other's team from then on, he hasn't played...at all.
Or last year, some guy(who was on my team) confronted me about hitting on his ex girlfriend(she was hittin on me, I was just enjoying it), we were best friends before this, he got all in my face, all talking ****, so I pushed him off of me, he swung at me, I blocked it, pushed him back to cause him to swing forward and popped him the mouth, then I proceeded to slap him around a little bit, until the principal came out

I'm a nice kid, I try to be a nice kid, just laid back whatever, let people talk ****...but I got a major anger problem, so once in a while, I just hit somebody...normally, I just keep hittin the gym pads or punching bags...

    Chick fights rule.

I saw the most vicious fight ever last year.

This black and this Puerto Rican were arguin' about some dude. And out of no where the black walks away, but the PR grabbed her by her hair and yanked her so hard that she ripped her weave out. All of a sudden the black girl turned with cat like reflexes and just smashed her in the face about 4 or 5 times. The PR fell and the B got on top of her, and just started whalin on her face. Somehow they managed to get up, and the B was still just ownin' this broad. Security came and literally pulled her up in the air, but as she was pullin' her in the air, the B swung her leg and popped the PR right in the damn face (It looked like Dunleavy/Newble). The B then jumped over the security guard, well on her back, and started swinging she hit the PR again, but also hit the security guard, so the SG slammed the B down to the ground.

It was a holy ****, that was fucking awesome, yet very brutal, I could only see that in a movie type of thing.
