Love Dame to death, but this is again problematic. He is the reason Stotts was here for so long in the first place and if Kidd is who he wants now, there at least has to be questions about his judgement. I get he probably grew up liking a fellow Oakland brother, but that is no where near good enough.

Agreed, and I don't like how Lillard has done this publicly. I think this indicates his hostility towards and distrust of Olshey, which is understandable; but he should have gone to upper management and asked for Olshey to be replaced and if not possible, worked behind the scenes with them to select a new coach.

if the team has already shortened their list down to two, before even interviewing anyone, then I think it’s safe to conclude they already know who they want to hire, and have known for awhile (as reported) I doubt Kidd is even in consideration, everything regarding him is coming from Lillard and his camp (Haynes)
