    I guess Spoelstra would be my #1 choice... I assume he is not gettable as he is under contract with Miami. If we can give them a second round pick and get him do it.

    #2 is Billups.

    Does that mean offer him the GM role?

    If so thats a horrible idea, GM's needs to make long term strategic decisions; the coach needs to focus on getting the most performance this year. They are both very difficult demanding jobs and need exclusive focus.

    I think Spo would be an excellent choice, but what's the cost to get him? I remember Rivers being traded to the Clippers for a 1st round pick. SO then I debate, is any player we were able to trade for with a pick making us better than hiring Spo will make the rest of the team better? Maybe with some front office responsibilities, it would be looked at as a promotion, so Riley would let him go?

    Here is what the actual tweet said, that NBA center is running with.

    note: We are NOT reporting contact has been made OR that Erik Spoelstra wants to leave Miami.

    Seems a bit similar to the “Miami has interest in trading for Damian Lillard” tweets after we got bounced from the playoffs.
