First and foremost, I am new here. I've never had a membership here. Mods can check my IP if you want. I used to post under DaveTwardziksHair on the Oregonian site but that's been years. I was born in Springfield and grew up in Portland. Played ball at Alpenrose for all-starts and little league for Bucks Texaco. Severed my tendon in my left thumb crawdad hunting in Marshall Park. Had to move(dad was transferred) when i was 12 but got to live through the championship run as an 11 year old. Best time of my life was Blazermania. Played Basketball at Capital Hill elementary with Bobby Gross' nephew who now coaches tennis at the college level. Got to hang out with a lot of Blazers as a kid, Lloyd Neal, Lionel Hollins and Larry Steel as well as Bobby Gross. Still have a pair of Lionel Hollins shoes. Why the qualifications? I't obvious low post count=troll on this board. I'm no troll. Just a huge Blazer fan that's a little discouraged at the moment. Welcome! It's great to have you here! You are correct, we do have a troll here but don't worry about it. There is a big difference from having an unpopular opinion to posting just to piss people off. People here are great at spotting the difference.
Actually, the "troll" references (Im assuming, I haven't been on the board much today) were more that a certain poster created a name, and then created another one to back himself up...then created another one to do the same. And in doing so was painfully obvious in his actions. So I think it's probably that posters just are leery of new posters right now. That said, welcome to the board. HCP is harmless (he works for the TV side of things), Kingspeed was on Bones and is our relatively famous member, Sly is odd, Denny is the big dog here, and I am the king of the world.
