Dame is from california. So you'd be somewhat right.

Why don't our players ride bicycles like Bill Walton did?!? @Natebishop3 wants more attractive people on the naked bike ride.

That, and the scarf he's wearing with the Blazers and Timbers logos. It hasn't exactly been scarf weather here the last couple of days.

As a kid I use to see Blazers around town all the time - Kersey, Cliff, and Duck mostly. Last Blazer I saw around town was Sheed - he sat next to me at a Goodie Mob/Roots show. These days it seems they mostly stay in the suburbs...
But yeah, so many players - once they become Blazers - end up really liking Portland and end up staying here long past their time with the team.

Portland Oregon is the Grady SC of the NBA. Big shot doctor lands in Grady, bound and determined to get to LA, but falls in love with the people and way of life in Grady.

So this explains the noticeable shift in the gravitational field in the Portland area.

As others have said: he looks a LOT thinner. That is awesome for his stamina and easier on his legs.

Hell, even Stoudamire lived elsewhere in the offseason.

Serious question: has there ever been a Big who has lost their edge when they slimmed down?

And his mobility. For a guy his size, he's extremely mobile. Somebody posted a video of him playing in the Adriatic League, grabbing rebounds and leading fast breaks Plumlee style.

Oh yes! It will definitely help his mobility.

And I would love to see that video if anyone's got it. So far, all I've seen of him this off-season is some minor work out clips. He looks great.

Nurk is the first player in a while that has compelled me to pick up a jersey.

I love Dame, but that's like getting a Roy or a Drexler jersey. It's too cliche.

I probably still won't get one, just because I would never wear it...... we need a Bosnian Beast t-shirt. Something like those awesome shirts from the 90s with the big heads.

I want two t-shirts with each of these pictures on it:

Funny you mention Nurkic jerseys. Official store has all the adidas jerseys on sale for like 40 bux. I ordered a Nurkic. Gonna be a hipster with the throwback.
