How many games did he play in Euro this summer? You can subtract that from the 45 he might have played for the Blazers.

Man, you’re pretty harsh on Nurk. Guess you wouldn’t be interested in trading for Embiid either. He’s only averaged 54.5 games per season over his 6 years.

Since he sat out 2 full seasons due to injury after being drafted, shouldn't we call it 41 games per season over 8 years?

Got nothing negative to say about Nurk at this point. Lets hope he has a great season.

You would have missed out on Steph Curry early in his career then...he had chronic ankle problems...Paul George is another...Kawhi...KD....and I'd sign all those guys tomorrow if possible.
Nurk is still young for a big...he healed at the right age...when injuries happen in your mid to late 30s you've got something to worry about.

You’re not trying to compare Nurk to Steph or Kawhi or Durant are you?

I believe the point is that injuries, even multiple injuries, happen to even the best players. Teams do what they can to minimize their risks when acquiring players, but it’s a crapshoot at best.

But those are the best players. Nurk is not.
Doesn’t matter. We all want Nurk to stay healthy and have a great season.

If you're talking injury...sure...that was the whole point...that he can beast post injury...Steph sure did up his game once his ankles let him. Also that they were all young enough to heal and come back strong

Folks…. Just to be clear…. This was a semi-sarcastic post. I don’t enjoy watching Jimmy G. QB the team. Or any team. He’s the best backup in the NFL (well, apparently now a starter, but before today). But I felt the “he’s back” was appropriate. I like Kyle Shanahan as a man, but not a big fan as a coach, either. It’s like Kirk Cousins, Alex Smith…. Good but not great. They’re game managers. They’re not likely to lose you games, but they’re not likely to win you games.

His ability to come back from injuries and play at a high level...sure. Can you remember the last time you saw Kawhi play an NBA game? I can't really. My whole point is his previous injuries are healed....it wasn't knees....he's young, he's ready to make a run...the idea that he's broken damaged goods to me is pure bullshit..I think Nurk will play to a level we haven't seen yet. Lots of folks don't think so...I do. I can't find any doom to enter this season with...nothin'....Didi is gone..he was the last unnecessary piece to shed. Going to be a great season! I'm on the Nurk train this season...watching him play next to Winslow was eye opening.Grant will be even better...it was like when he played next to Chief...there was chemistry. Nurk looks happy these days.

Okay. I’m sure most everyone wants him to play well and stay healthy. It would be good for the Blazers for sure wether he stays or is traded. Nurk healthy and playing well would be a good thing no question.
