    I realize it's they're probably not Blazer staff anymore but a Mike and Mike meet and greet with a sort of going away party vibe would be cool...getting sloshed with Rice would be cool

    I'm guessing it's something to the effect of:

    They're still under contract with the team, but they were essentially fired, so the team probably doesn't want them out talking with the fans until after their contracts run out.

    Now that the front office has read this thread, I fully expect the standard, "Opinions expressed are NOT those of the Portland Trail Blazers..." disclaimer to magically appear in 24-point bold font in the page top banner between ripcitytwo and the 3-point "Portland Trail Blazers Official Message Board".

    Although, if HomerLovesKoolAid had his way, that last part would read: "Portland Trail Blazers Official Massage Board".
