If you care to read it, there's a lot to learn from it.

    http://townhall.com/columnists/kurt...r-four-years-of-nonstop-freakoutrage-n2248518

It’s important to understand why liberals are so angry and so scared. They are angry because they believe they have a moral right to command us, apparently bestowed by Gaia or #Science or having gone to Yale, and we are irredeemably deplorable for not submitting to their benevolent dictatorship.

(This is how people could vote for Trump. There's only so much smug condescension that people will put up with.)

They are scared because they fear we will wage the same kind of campaign of petty (and not so petty) oppression, intimidation, and bullying that they intended to wage upon us.

And their fear tastes like sunshine puked up by a unicorn.

I was considering being magnanimous in our total victory, but that lasted until a bunch of loving, tolerant, peaceful anti-Trump demonstrators jumped my friend and hurt his dog. So now, their pain is my sugar, and I say let’s spend the next four years having our coffee Sudden Impact-style.

anyone thinking liberals are fun loving, peaceful hippies with flowers and unicorns is way out of touch with modern times....not all liberals are happy folk or passive folk..welcome to the diversity of the human race......news flash....some really aggressive people don't like Trump but they're not always the Green Party members.....John McCain hates Trump.....so do I....but I at least try to not say all conservatives are bigoted racist women beaters and pedophiles....if we discuss the state of our nation or the world....all that schoolyard bullshit doesn't add anything to the conversation. I'm anti war but not anti gun. Trump is a loose cannon and I just hope he doesn't fuck up the world just because he can

Wouldn't it just be a better conversation if you just read the article and commented on it? Too little of that in political threads. If you want to use contentious baiting whenever an opposing view is posted, you basically are proving the articles point Denny......look in the mirror? Rasta didn't write that article....we could all just cut and paste our reading preferences here but I use the library for that purpose....I thought it was interesting comparing political allegiance to religious affiliation. You're either going to hell or heaven....right....I don't buy that at all but firmly believe in your right to do just that.

I read the article and personally it's poorly written and filled with sophomoric references that I found shallow and lacking any sense of knowledge...Obama is self centered, Hillary is a liar...liberals are manipulating your life....Trump scares them, etc.........yawnfest

"Just gonna leave this here" is a passive aggressive accusation made by a holier than thou hypocrite type of POST

The article does prove how ridiculous these conversations really are. Nobody ever changes their mind anyway.

    Let's just get this clear:

Far more people preferred her to him. 3 million more. We have to listen to his uneducated gut takes and tweets for four years because of an antiquated, 17th century voting mechanism, not because more people wanted him, liked him, trusted him, or voted for him.

He's a historical accident, one we will come to really regret.

No it's not unless you are in fear of Rasta's reading interests......Rasta is a cool guy, a bright guy and has every right to share his stuff with us here...you just called him a holier than thou hypocrite for posting a link? That's pretty passive aggressive

    I did.

It's one of those "all trump supporters are ________" bullshit stories.

I found it to be PROJECTION.

    My reply was spot on.

    Have a tissue.

In the meantime, realize that where Trump went after states that were reliably democratic, he actually won those states.

The popular vote bullshit is just that. Trump didn't campaign in California. He might have won the state if he did (as he did in PA, MI, WI, OH, etc.). At least he would have wiped out Clinton's lopsided victory.

Trump won by 3M votes in all the states but Calfornia and NY.

Your criminal candidate knew the rules, had unlimited money, the best get out the vote machinery in history. And she was so terrible she lost badly. Thank goodness.

This has to be the dumbest post I've ever read and I've read most of HCP's 30 something thousand posts.

He doesn't want a discussion and I've never been anything but regular aggressive in my entire life.

An optimist may see a light where there is none,
but why must a pessimist always run to blow it out?
