I am glad that I'm an optimist. The pessimist is half-licked before he starts.

He might have won California? Riiiight. It is the bluest of blue states. He didn't go there for a reason.

He didn't go there because he didn't need to win the state.

Given the rules, it was a massive waste of money to advertise in really expensive markets, only to win by 350+ EVs instead of 310.

If it were about nothing but popular vote, he would have gone there.

Clinton may still have won by a million votes, since it's "bluest of blue".

The popular vote logic is clownish, and a reach by losers who can't accept that they lost fair and square.

    Ya never know.....

Absolutely. And back when I was a registered Democrat, I actually was pissed Gore lost because of this. How naive of me back then.

I agree - the rules are the rules and Trump won by these rules. No one is denying that, but Mr. ad hominem, we "losers" also know that he is an anomaly and the majority of people didn't and don't want him. Deny it all you want. Rationalize and mock that all you want, you're good at that. But that's the fact, Jack.

No. It is far from fact. A majority of the people in enough states voted Trump to make him President.
In the other states many people wanted him also but they didn't vote because it wouldn't make a difference.
So the only Fact you actually know is, Trump won the election in enough states to make him President. Simple fact, no jack.

Bill Clinton won twice without a majority. I don't think anyone felt he was somehow illegitimate because of that. That he would have lost without Perot siphoning a huge % of the vote from Clinton's opponents is what it is. Perot had every right to run.

I will mock those who are stunningly stupid about losing. Be it the moron Hollywood types who promised to leave, to the media that had so much invested in the criminal loser.

The majority of people didn't want the crooked loser, either.

    Yes I to voted Trump!
I believe he has a chance to be a great president!
Hillary was a awful candidate! Totally corrupt! needs to at least be in front of a independent grand Jury!
Server outside the government system totally exposed America's secrets (can not over emphasis how damaging this probably was) and could have been, it is possible people died because they were exposed!

Corrupt media helped doom Clinton chances, as it came out how much they have helped change or manipulate the news,
Most things bad for Clinton or the country were covered up and not reported or slanted so far to the left.
Media talks up a side of this country that I and many people could not agree with.
Why is it wrong to want voter id so at least prove you are eligible to vote, the person that somehow manages to vote more than once is wrong but not likely to change elections! Millions of illegals should not be encourage (Obama & Clinton) to vote.
Immigration needed reform for years, most citizens want all incoming illegals to stop coming in to US.
Immigrants are part of this country!
    Come thru the front door!
Should not be able to receive free benefits from government until been here for a couple years anyway.
America is a very tolerant nation but have been taken advantage of by free loaders. all races.
Close down the border, great big wall would be nice but the main thing would be to any means available to shut it down. Use the technology available to stop all crossing by people, drugs, guns, money.

This Country voted for a black pres, we are not racist, the media and Obama pushed a narrative to get Clinton elected and now their is more racism in this country than in many years, it is to bad Obama was bad for this country! To bad he could have made a real difference. ( We wanted to give him a chance.)
To bad he is a Muslin instead of a Christian. A whole lot of Muslims are great people in this country, but!!! their seems to be something wrong with some, maybe Sharia law. People that stand behind terrorist activities should not be allowed in our country.
The Snowflakes as they are called seem to lost the ability to talk with out all the isms, hard to have a conversation when they refuse to listen. All the protesting for the most part were from the Dem side and the media covered it up or blamed on Trump. Was any of the violent protest GOP?
OK, Trump good qualities buisness man that made a whole lot of money, may understand a way to get this country on the move again. Honestly the last 15 years or so it seems we have changed from a working group to people that want others to work and they live for free because we can afford it.
I think I can spend the money I make better than any Govt can.
    Is Trump perfect?
No one is, of the Gop he won out over, none of them could have won over team Clinton. Bernie possibly had a chance but the Dems cheated and got caught, Bernie was cheated than paid a l0t of money to go away!

How hilarious that Crook blames the Truth for her loss. As if the Truth is the enemy.

I think most of the GOP 17 candidates may have beaten her.

Trump is not a real GOP, the way things in this country are a true GOP could not get elected, same as someone so far left has little chance to ever get elected.
We as Americans may need more parties to choose from and split the vote more ways, so far libertarians got some good ideas, Gary J. was the wrong candidate, Jill was lining her pockets, recount.
Will Trump screw it up maybe, he is 70 and works harder than any and all politicians out there. Give him a chance and in 4 years we will judge him also.

Alright I am all over the board but I passionately dislike Clinton and Obama and am optimistic that Trump will bring some respect to this country.

Sorry about all over the board

I respect people like MAGS to stand up for what he believes

Do you mean "I respect you because I think you're crazy and you have nuclear weapons" or do you mean "I respect you because you have demonstrated calm intelligent leadership"? Because I can tell you that the vast majority of people all over the world think that Trump is a clown and that Americans are idiots for electing him. (Please, Americans who have recently traveled abroad, correct me if I'm wrong.) And the parts of the world who are happy to see Trump elected don't respect him either - they just think he'll let them do what they want to do.

Of all the things to be optimistic about under a Trump administration, I'd say that's one of the ones that has the very least possibility of happening.

(Well: if Trump doesn't actually start a war, then maybe there will be an uptick from the current record low opinion. Also it would help if someone took away his Twitter.)

All those jobs are going to be good paying ones and will help expand the middle class.

I get you want to root against jobs and expanding the middle class, but I think it's deplorable.

Hahahah, just came back for this. THAT is passive aggressive, did it to make a point. I don't have anyone on ignore, you learn to read.

HE has everyone not in his Play-Doh circle on ignore, he'd have Denny on ignore too if he could. Tell me one reason to put Denny on ignore other than he disagrees with him. I dare you

It's wonderful that you have such a clear vision of the future, and can tell (a) that this wouldn't have happened without Trump, (b) that he hasn't had to commit to anything that is not in our interests to get this assurance, and (c) that this really is a solid win for the US and won't undercut other businesses already employing people in the US (y'know, in good Capitalist fashion).

But all that aside - I was just saying that Trump was right! Jeez, some people are never happy.

(Now I'm deplorable am I required to get a cartoon frog in my profile pic? That seems to be the rule.)
