Good to have you here! We're in need of some quality Blazers fan to accommodate their quality team this coming season.
The next great bbf? OH NOEZ Don't worry, if there are any knuckleheads as mods or admins in the basketball forum, I'll be sure to let the admins know and blackmail them into demodding 'em.
Hey man, I've been around bbf for the past 4 years or so, posting off and on, the only thing that makes me still go to bbf is because of the blazer board activity. There is no doubt in my mind S2 is a better community, we just need to up the blazers activity
welcome to S2, make sure you check out all the other forums and sports we like to discuss here, variety is the spice of life I say and Go Blazers!!! (to the finals to lose to the Celtics )
Its been awhile since I've kicked it with the ol' bbb.net Blazer crew. Years, even. Look forward to arguing with them some more.
ABM suggested I check this place out, so I'll be loittering here for a while if all don't mind. A couple things about me: -I'm a hunt and peck typer and a science major, so I have a lot of typos and misspelled words. I can't find a spell check button and don't have the patience to go back and edit my post befor entering it . . . I'll try to keep the tpyo's down to a minimum. -I do plan to continue reading and posting on BBF. I enjoy the posters there, they are knowledgable and I post so much back and forth with them I feel I know them. Some I have met in person. -I can have attitude sometime (been dinged at BBF with just warnings so far) . . . but if you get to know me, you'll find out I don't take myself very seriously and can laugh with the same poster I went at it with the next day . . . or maybe the next week. (Maxiep and I have gone at it a couple of times, but it is all good between us) -some posters will love me because I give my opinion right off my gut feeling which leads to being one of the few posters to admit I'm wrong when someone calls me out for talking out of my ass. So maybe my posts won't have a lot of credibility, but how often do yoiu have a poster admitting they are wrong on the internet. I think that is it for now. I'll sit back, get a feel for the board, jump in with some quick thoughts and if I feel real comfortable, leave another long post like this . . . so for your own good, don't make me feel too comfortable.
Glad to have you. I'm sure you'll like it here and I liked your posts over at bbf, so I look forward to seeing some around here.
GO time, you can turn on spell check on this site. Just right click on the window where you type your comments and there's an option for spell check.
I've gotten spell checkers from here: http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_enUS291&aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=spell checker Nose around a little. I've recently switched to Google's Chrome as my web browser and I noticed that it uses a built-in spell check. When a word is misspelled it underscores the word. If you double click, you can sometimes select an auto correct feature. However, the double click feature does not always put me in an edit mode. I've got more to learn.
