I dread a Hillary campaign if she gets the nomination...it'll be like groundhog day for spin doctors. There's just too much baggage no matter what she says. I still have no candidate I can honestly support at this point. It's an ugly field

Oh I have no problem. I am not voting for Clintion. I sure don't want to vote for Bush and won't unless it is Bush or Clinton on the final choice.
Anybody else will do except that socialist.

If this happens our electorate is too stupid for words, and Idiocracy is no longer a comedic fallacy.

If we're that dumb, then we'll be electing President Camacho or some former Disney channel/Real Housewives of whogivesfuck star in the not so distant future anyway.

Even if she IS 1/32nd Cherokee, how does that excuse the fact that she claimed she was a MINORITY professor? That right there is some bullshit.

So anyone with a spec of minority blood can be labeled a minority now? If that's the case 75+% of America can claim to be a minority now.

The fact that you focus on that instead of what she could do as a candidate speaks volumes.

Scott Brown tried to follow that line of reasoning. What happened to him?

Wikipedia or not, the one drop rule does exist. That's why every biracial person thats half black and white usually identifies as black. They have to.

Trump gets my vote if that happens. I would still vote trump if Jeb Bush wins republican primaries. Only way I don't vote trump is if Bernie wins the dem primary

Can I ask why you feel that way? You'd vote for the candidate that appeals most to the insurgent far right, unless you're able to vote for the guy who appeals most to the socialist far left?

    Is Trump really "far right?"

He's no socialist, but he is statist and pro choice.

Donald Trump isn't anything. He's a loud attention whore, who says dumb shit for as much attention as possible. The largest block of people who would vote for him in a Republican primary are part of the insurgent far right, yes.

No quite right. His support is broadly based. He's popular across the board with republicans, including moderates expected to back Bush.

In fact, many support him because he's challenging entrenched institutions and dogma. That's quite liberal when you get right down to it. Heck, hippies violently protested the '68 convention, exactly to rebel against entrenched institutions and dogma.

His immigration stance is right out of MARIS61's playbook. He's no fan of republicans.

What is he challenging exactly? Not being PC? The calling card for assholes who are mad that they have repercussions for being assholes? He exists by being a wealthy celebrity, loudly fueling spiteful xenophobia and slinging dumbed down rhetoric to a dumbed down populace.

I want drastic change. I'm tired of the last 20 years from politicians that straddle the fence and give false promises

I understand, but it's odd to see someone say they'd be ok to be in two completely different political boats.
