Keep voting people! I see a lot of people who just vote in one thread. Take the time and read the rest of them too. There's only 4 battles this time, so it shouldn't take too long.
If everything stays the same, the standings should look something like this: 1- Junoon (100% of the votes) 2- MrJ (10 votes) 3- Smitty (6 votes) 4- Chutney (5 votes) So if it were the playoff format it would be Junoon vs. Chutney and Me vs. Smitty, right?

In terms of the voting...I think next tourney will have to go with judges...maybe 5 or so to spread out the thought process...I don't really mind everyone voting either...I guess sometimes people don't vote the way the competitors would like or something. For the record I definetly think 44Thrilla should be a judge. I like how he's brutally honest with every rapper in the compeition, with no sugar coating.
We could do it like ATF, back in the day. 3 or 4 judges and a poll that counts as the 5th judge. And I agree about Thrilla. My problem with the voting is that the explanations are too vague. If I'm trying to improve for the next round/tournament, I need something more specific. I also sometimes get the impression that some people don't read the whole thing. Let's keep the voting up for another day, or at least until Brian's back. Then we can start the semi's after.
Well, as far as voting's concerned, I think we have had a lot of voters already and it doesn't seem like any of the battle are actually close in terms of the voting. MrJ won by a landslide, you got the majority of votes in your battle, and so did Smitty and myself. I think we should start the second round tommorow...or whenver Brian's back I guess. Voting can still go on but this forum is going to be dead until the 3rd round begins I'm assuming.

With school starting, Brian is busy, so maybe we should get someone else alongside him to run it too.
^ Yeah...I know that my school, your school and Chutney's school all start on Sept 5th and I really want to finish this tourney in the next week cause once school starts I will not be able to come on the forums as much. We just need someone to post and close threads basically. I don't know if moderators have that power in every forum or just the forum they're responsible for alone, but MrJ since you are a moderator I assume you could take over Brian's responsibilites for the time being, right?

I've got till Sept. 11 (university), but, yea, I agree with the rest of you. It's best to finish this off before all of us have school to deal with.
