You know what? Forget about criteria. It's unfair to judge on criteria. There may be a certain criteria which isn't being judged and person "A" is better at it than person "B." But because person "A" wasn't being judged on that criteria, he lost. There should just be a poll.
I don't think it's an uncommon punchline though. I was thinking of saying something similar, but I saw azn_iverson's first,so I just left it.

Everyone who wants to vote should come in the thread, pick what they think is the strongest verse for each of the rappers and judge based on that. They can include some of the criterias to discuss their picks but in the end, it's a BATTLE, so basically they should just pick what they think is the more effective verse in terms of demoralizing the opponent.
You need 100 posts to post in these sections anyway. But I agree with what you are saying where anyone can randomly vote without actually reading the lyrics. The same goes for the rating thing though, unless we have 3 neutral judges decide who the winner is in each battle? I wouldn't mind being one of them.

Decent comeback but the main reason I quoted that little Junoon bit was because he turned that internet geek thing around on you and that Tracy McGrady line. That's how the battle should be done, making each other look stupid(of course it's all in good fun).
