If the Eagles are always going to be the best team in the NFC then why do they keep losing in the NFC Championship? I'm glad the Falcons havent went to 4 straight, if they were to be like the Eagles. Losing 3 in a row now there is an accomplishment! Its less heartbreaking to not even make it there than to lose out in the NFC game 3 times and to show just how big of chokers they really are. Oh and this Sunday will just make it 4 straight loses.
They are the best in the NFC because they have the best record in NFC for the past 4 years, it's the 2nd best in the NFL. The Eagles have been somewhere where 28 teams have not been for the past 4 years, and also continue to be a huge opposition unlike St.Louis, Tampa Bay, or Carolina. In terms of consistency, the only team that is better each and every year is the Patriots, and even they didn't make the playoffs once in the past 4 years. Go ahead Bry, hop on the bandwagon. Eagles will choke as always. Everyone seems to forget the Eagles were without their defensive MVP, and their QB had broken ribs for 3 quarters of the game. So let's see, if Vick is out of the game, and Rod Coleman as well, do you think Atlanta could win? Highly unlikely, especially since we've already seen how great the Falcons are without one of those 2 players. The Falcons are a one dimensional offense. When the Falcons rushing is shut down, Vick will make stupid and inaccurate throws. If you think you can put up the numbers you laid on St.Louis on the Eagles, you are dead wrong. The Falcons offense will be shut down. Atlanta's defensive strength is stopping the rush and pressuring the QB. Kevin Mathis is questionable this week, and you should pray to god he's not out this weekend. The Falcon's passing defense is....22nd in the NFL, and only let up 23 less yards per game than Minnesota. Bring all the pressure you want, because when Atlanta blitzes the Eagles they'll start to realize that they're the best screen offense in the league. I guarantee you, Atlanta will remember the names Brian Westbrook and L.J. Smith by the end of this game.
Eagles win by 6 or more at home in the cold against Atlanta. The losing streak is over for Philly in the NFC Championship game.

At least people show up to the games no matter the record. Atlanta is the WORST sports city in the U.S. When any team struggles, where are these "fans"? Hell, the Braves can't even sell out a playoff game! The city is nothing but a bunch of bandwagon jumpers that bail at the first sight of a team failing. Look at the fantastic turn out after going to the Super Bowl in 98. There was NO ONE in the stands in 99 Despite my arguements with Beef and BearsFan, I respect them because their still here long after their squad's are out of it (which was August!). The city of Atlanta is made up of transplants from all over - you certainly don't have folks WILLINGLY moving to Philly. Most of the folks there were born there, live there and will probably die there.

How many shots have I taken at the city of Philadelphia this week, not many I can say that. I made what 1 of them, when I called it Filthydelpia and that people would probably die if they willingly moved there. What else have I said about the CITY of Philly? Also I would rather support a team with not as many fans or not the greatest fan support than have fans who act like drunken idiots at most of the games.
