And we need Stepan back. We simply cannot afford to lose anyone in the top 6 with the lack of depth we have upfront.

If we don't score tonight it will be 6 straight periods with no goals and no goals against a goalie for 8 straight periods.

Net coverage and faceoffs are big big problems.

This coach is awful at making adjustments as soon as there is some issue like an injury or the team just looks dead. Does the guy ever raise his voice on the bench?

I don't think that has a thing to do with it Step. We have no forward depth. At 100% we need a forward. Without one of the top 6 forwards, good luck. We have no depth to score if we lose anyone and the first two lines aren't on their game.

Not sure what you expect AV to do in situations like this. Paging Mr. Sather...

We also need to keep in mind, and you know I like Hayes a lot, but the dude has 5 goals in 38 games...5. That is not good enough for a 3rd line guy. Double so when another normal 3rd line guy, Fast, has 3 goals. Even Hags only has 8 goals. That is just not near good enough for a 3rd line.

I am a broken record now, but I have said it since game 1...WE NEED ANOTHER TOP 9 FORWARD...PERIOD.

We know we need another top 9 forward. Thanks for stating this over and over. I like AV a lot and think he has done a great job at fixing the offense but it is also responsibility of the coaching stuff to get your team ready. Since he has taken over, the bruins have owned the rangers. He has not made any adjustments.

I dont care about stepan injury. Call up lindberg and keep that bum glass out of the lineup but what does av do? He inserts him back into the lineup. Easy way out.

Call up Lindberg, who has never played an NHL in his life, for the 1 or 2 games Step is out...that's the answer? That is a reach Step. The answer is get another top 9 forward, not kill the coach when his options are limited at best.

And now we are basing it off our record against the Bruins last season and one game this season? I think you are off here Step...tonight is not about AV IMO. We just didn't have the horses upfront. Not his fault. Lindberg is not the magic bullet, and that would need Sather to make the move, not AV.

BTW...I am with you that the last two games were really difficult to watch. Not good. Need to right the ship tomorrow night for sure.
