If it weren't for the Cowboys' three Superbowl wins, Irvin's numbers would be "not quite good enough" either. He's not HOF worthy... However on the football field he was a game changer. Sharpe, was the only reciever on the packers. Irvin shared the field with 2 other good recievers who caught plenty of passes.
Hof canidate. Simple that goes to none other then mr derrick thomas. Its a sad story with his life and its even worse he passes away so early while being one of the best pass rushers in the nfl. In the end i wanna beleive dt met his dad finally when he passed away. But i will remember him and his play. Truley one of the best ive ever seen play.
Irvin ... don't like the commentator...don't like the guy .. he does deserve to get into the HOF. Of course, there are lots of "quieter" guys that aren't in the hall that I would like to see go in first, but I guess I can't be that way. Irvin deserves to be there.
Art Monk's stats are better than Michael Irvin's and he's not in the Hall of Fame... It's going to be the Superbowl rings that get Ivin in there.
