I'm talking about leverage. If Nash is the coveted piece and the Blazers aren't willing to part with their most valuable assets, then Phoenix is in the driver's seat ... especially because there are potentially a half-dozen (or more?) other teams with offers of their own. IMO, getting Nash is going to hurt, especially with how reticent the Suns have been to even discuss the possibility of trading him. FYI: I'm not really a believer in the whole "trading for Nash will solve our woes" narrative.
Felton to the Lakers for Odom TPE and the better of Dallas or their 1st. Elliot or Nolan, or if necessary, both, preferably Babbit and 1, hehe, as well as the 1st to Phx Nash to Portland. Phx gets a pick roughly around 20, but potentially higher, an ok wing prospect in williams and saves themselves some cash when figuring they save on remainder of Nash's contract. Lakers get a PG they seem to be looking for, Portland gets Nash.
