I don't object to any of the changes. I agree with pretty much every change Manfred has sanctioned. The game needs to be brought back in the inner cities. It needs to be governed by a more conventional time clock. The pitcher needs to be disallowed from stepping off the mound to control the pace of the game. There needs to be more done to modernize it. But this notion on TV and sports radio that baseball is some antiquated old past time, has no good qualities and deserves no lead coverage or discussion (those extra three hours now provided to "Hey! Let's count the 100 days to NFL TRAINING CAMP or Is LEBRON in Las Vegas?!) While generating our scorn and unconstructive criticism...... Yeah. I DO have a problem with that.
