I know the cap is going up, but anything over 8 million per year for Lopez is an awful deal. If he had a better offensive game, then maybe. Lopez is already on the decline in both points and rebounds and is just another body on the floor that the other team can slack off from.

One thing I'm tired of hearing from the team is the sense of pride in coming back from double digit deficits and having lethargic 1st half production or defense. It's like they feel they only have to play half a game to win. Without Wes it isn't working. Wes was that guy that would lock the defense in and make sure everyone is on the same page. After his injury they just seem too content to rely on dumping off to Aldridge every possession..serious lack of balance on offense

My rule is always...never in a game thread! I like this version of the Blazers..you obviously have missed my old Felton rage from days gone by

Great post. Agree with most everything you said

In the first half of they year, blazers had some serious warts... But no one wanted to look at them because they were winning.

the honest point is that considering the injuries, coaching rotation decisions and player performance - we're simply not equipped to compete with a team like Memphis.... and even less now that before and we weren't then either.

Ha! Felton rage! I could never have caught it, my own rage was far too consuming to see past my nose.

I believe the homers and pessimists all agreed on Felton. I don't think there was a single fan that supported FAILTON

    Voodoo Doughnuts supported him.

Or was it the other way around?

Oh, I got shit for not supporting him from the get go. For some reason, I had been watching some Denver games where he caught my eye. As I recall he couldn't even make a free throw, and then we traded for him. That lite me up with the WTF right now. Then the shit started coming my way for not giving him a chance, but my thinking was already, he has no chance.

We let Patty Mills go back then too. That sure is a WTF now watch him go to work.

See, I don't think we need to trade Dame to contend for the top pick. I think not bringing anyone back and a lineup of Dame, McCollum, Batum, Leonard, and Freeland would contend for the top pick of the draft.

Probably, but CJ wouldn't get Any burn if we re-signed Mo.
