    Would that be Curry x 2 or Curry squared?

    Does everyone knows how many FA out there this year there a shit load. There also some pretty big names out there too. The top 5 going get the big money then then next 5. What there about 5 team with a lot money. Okay Hood Kanter Curry Aminu is our UFA this year. There not enough money out there for players going get what they want. So there going be a lot discount out there even the ones we got. Now Aminu could sign bigger contract if he stays with us. But I think Curry and Aminu what call a Davis casualties. This where olshey will want Simons and Zach to take there place for continue there development. Now it going be between Hood and Kanter to get the mid level exception. What I seen on the combine yesterday it only 5.6 million but that could be wrong. I thought it was over 9 million next year and if that the case I see both Hood and Kanter split that for maybe bigger contract next year with the team or else where. Remember to many UFA this year and some big names out there and they will get all money right off. So there going to be a lot players not going get paid what they think they deserve.

    The Tax MLE is at $5.7M, the Full is at $8.9M.

    If you want Hood and Kanter to split at $4.4M for the Full MLE, you might as well have Hood sign for his non-bird rghts ($4.2M) and Kanter for the Tax MLe ($5.7M).

    That's underpaid on both counts. But it's only one year, and if they really want to stay I can see it happening. Then again, I'm a dreamer

    Yup. If the Blazers use the Full MLE their salary cant pass $139M (apx. $7M past the luxury tax line) for the whole season. If they don't want that restriction, they can only use the tax-payer MLE.

    do you honestly believe calling somebody ignorant is not insulting?

    or are you just assuming one of several definitions of ignorant, the part about 'lacking knowledge'?

    like I said, that is one definition; but there are several others that are less and less benign

    * uneducated or unsophisticated
    * uninformed, unenlightened, backward
    * rude, impolite, ill-mannered
    * showing lack of knowledge or intelligence

    "There are several meanings of ignorant, all of which are concerned with a lack of knowledge in some sense; some of these are more insulting than others, and care should be exercised before applying this word to people who you do not wish to offend. Saying “They were ignorant of most of the laws of physics” means that the people in question did not have a specific body of learning. Saying “You are an ignorant person” is possibly describing someone as primitive, crude, or uncivilized."

    (googled)

    the irony is if somebody is aware of the many definitions of ignorant, they might be more offended by the label than somebody who is ignorant about ignorant...if you know what I mean

    That was a good derail. Seriously. I just learned a bunch of stuff, on things I had wondered about.

    And, not that my opinion means shit, but for the most part; it was done without having everyone toss piles of shit at each other. Well, at least for this place, it was minor..... Lol. Having members here having constant bitchfests, really sucks. Again, just IMHO.

    Anyways, I want to keep them all! Come on NO!!!

    The apron is always $6 million over the tax line.

    Nope. Each year the apron rises by one-half of the percentage that the salary cap does.

    So more like $138.3M if it's set at an even $132M. I figured itd be $132M and some change.
