Houston has withdrawn the qualifying offer for SG Courtney Lee

I don't know and I mean that sincerely. On this board and the other one I hang out at I read, at best, a lukewarm feeling about Hinrich. I saw no one who would be willing to pay him the full MLE. I saw almost no one who wanted Hinrich at the MMLE ($3mil) over Watson at $3.2mil. Hinrich is priced at $2mil or less. This strikes me as hardly a nostalgic/overvaluing situation.

My personal opinion is that there are some who don't want Hinrich if he was allowed to play for free and that's also a nostalgia thing...negative nostalgia. When nostalgia, positive or negative, takes over, I'm afraid that good basketball judgement is the ultimate loser.
