I swear to God if they don't go out and get a consistent bat I'm gonna be pissed. This is year 3 of doing Jack shit, they HAVE to.

I agree but I think it's going to take some of our top prospects. If we are getting an all-star bat (probably a corner infielder), I hope that he has a couple/few years left on his contract. After totally whiffing on any real impact free-agent in the off-season, you'd have to nail this trade. All that to say, I'm not totally sold on dipoto being able to nail that trade.

he did pretty good on the Castillo trade

Lazaro Montes is getting Yordan Alvarez comps, I’m fine with trading any prospect but him

If there’s not a better time to make an all-in splashy trade I don’t know when is. Great base but not a complete team. The young pitching staff can carry them places. Not enough pop in the lineup though.

Locklear has looked pretty nice filling in for France

It would need to be on the same level as the Castillo trade, for sure.

I like what I've heard about Colt Emerson, too. Hold on to him if you can along with Montes.

I'm fine trading any pitching prospect we have. Emerson has been up and down.

I wouldn't touch Woo, either. Dude has been lights out, even though he tried to throw a bullpen session and had to end it. I hope it's nothing major.

But just any prospect can go at this point if it gets us a bat (hopefully with some club control but I'm not picky).

This is the first time we've had an 8.5 game lead in the division since 2001.

First thing I noticed about Locklear in person was his massive quads.

Following baseball for the first time. My daughter started her internship with the Corvallis Knights this past weekend. Gets to watch her boyfriend play.

We are not a serious team. Lol.

Bliss goes 3-3 and we sub him out with a runner on 3rd lol.

    Not a serious team.

I saw the game go extra innings. Can't win 'em all. There's still like 100 games left

I've been following all my life, and if you're a serious team you win games just like those.

Luckily we have the trade deadline. But if we don't get a serious bat then this season is already done.

Yeah, that loss took a lot out of me lol.

White Sox could bump the Mariners down to league's worst batting average, if South Side strings some knocks together this weekend.

I think my issue is like right now. M’s up 10 games over .500 and up 7-0 vs the Marlins and not a peep.

But please remind me next time they lose in a 162 game season
