I’m a bandwagon Mariners fan too basically. I’ve seen several games though. Never been to a playoff game though.

The Cubs will forever and always have my heart but I don't mind keeping an eye on the Mariners and hoping the two of them meet up in the WS. While the Mariners are neither of our favorite teams, it one of the few squads (besides the Blazers and Cougs) me and my dad can agree on (he's a Yankees fan at heart).

For real ... me and him had some BATTLES in the late 90's and early 00's as I rooted hard for any team to beat them. Got to the point where my mom and sister wouldn't be around us when the World Series rolled around and the Yankees were in it and the only way we couldn't fight is if we were watching in separate rooms. Me and the wife got to go to the new Yankee Stadium this season and I finally decided to let my Yankee hate go, even bought a hat I really liked. Figure my dad is 70 now, no idea how much longer he has left on this spinning orb, might as well bury that hatchet and let the hate go. Also helps I have a little money riding on them in a year long fantasy league I'm in where we take teams in multiple sports.

There are sometimes on here when it sets in how much hate there is out there…… and this one of those times. Completely unnecessary post. I’m a HUGE baseball fan and you and the @bigbailes guy have just taken it too far. @SlyPokerDog maybe this is a sign that it’s time for me to move along from this place…… I can’t believe you went there! f…..a…..m…..s…..
