Sounds like something Mariners fans say every year for the past 20 years except for one.

My point is that the Mariners are the worst organization in sports. They are the only MLB team that has never even appeared in the World Series. They had Lenny of "Lenny and Squiggy" as one of their lead scouts. They know nothing about how to run a MLB baseball team.

I am not convinced the pitching staff is strong enough to do a deep post-season run. I assume offense will improve; it's awful right now. They got lucky, imho, with really a lot cheap relievers that are not that great. The simply did not really improve the team last offseason for whatever reason. The merely swapped Teoscar for Hanniger. Ray is a bust and that hurts. Really hurts.

I definitely disagree on the pitching. Castillo is a bonafide ace, Gilbert is a legit #2 and Kirby is going to grow into an ace. Having guys like Marco, Flexen and Ray at the end of the rotation is not that bad. Especially in the playoffs when rotations are trimmed down to 3 guys. As long as Kirby and Gilbert keep developing, there won’t be a 3 man rotation that is better than those three imo. The bullpen won’t be a problem, unless you don’t believe in Munoz, brash, Castillo and Seawald. There’s also trades to be made as dipoto is pretty good at finding bullpen arms from nothing.

if anything plagues this team it will be the offense. imo Teoscar is a nice upgrade from Mitch, and I loved Mitch. But we still are gonna strike out way too much

Just a side bar for the baseball fans. Tatis Jr from the Padres is suspended 80 games for PED, but is being allowed to play games at the AAA level. I think that is wrong if suspended you are suspended, not getting to play in the minors. What are others thoughts on suspended players getting to play games in the minor leagues while serving their suspension?

Meh, I don't really care too much. I think he should be paid like a minor leaguer too, but I doubt that will happen.

The only picture that has proven to suck is Marco. Ray pisses me off but he at least can show at times he can be a #2 or #3. Pitching is our strength.

Our offense is fine. Teoscar is great and I'm not worried. Better than a 60 game haniger. It's 7 games.

Ty France already has a stolen base this year.. We may be 2-5, but that right there is an achievement.

Gilbert did not look to have his best stuff today. Hopefully it was just a bad travel day or something.
