Frustrating game but overall it was a good series. Great start by Kirby and Marco, both of them bouncing back strong after the first start. hopefully Luis can go deep into the game tomorrow and a lot of the bullpen can rest.

The rays, usually known as a soft hitting team, are raking. Albeit against the weakest opponents but a +57 run differential in the first 9 games hasn't happened in 123 years.

Mariners have not looked good. Poor play, terrible hitting in the middle and bottom of the order and questionable decisions by Servais. You don't want to dig a hole that is too big to get out of. I think the playoffs went to their heads a bit. Reality is setting in. The team probably did not make the moves needed to be a contender imho. team batting 24th in the league team pitching 5th in the league fielding 19th in the league
If we're in this position 50 games in id be worried. But we're not 3 weeks in yet. That being said, the off-season was so underwhelming given the hype we went into.
